The list was typed into that system from a hard copy....mails containing the names were sent from one department to another....hard copies too will have been sent for signatures etc.

The file cannot be lost...there are many ways to retrieve the names.

There is a period of three (3) months ultimatum for issuance of appointment letters after obtaining certificate of compliance by the agency. So with this, I don't think the issue of f.c.c has been thrashed before.

My source told me that also and this afternoon when i contacted him, he said the PC that has the typed names ran into some issues and they have submitted a budget of 15M to get it fixed.

Let's just pray they don't lose the files.

Most likely, the list had gone to FCC before and it has been trashed, NNPC has made corrections to reflect FCCs directives, then NNPC finally submits the finalised list to FCC today to get the compliance certificate. Now most likely the slots given to FCC was not given today, it has been given long ago when the list first got there.

So its very possible, it has been submitted for final approval and that NNPC has March ultimatum to release the appointment letters.
