We celebrate our talented doctors.
We are highly proud of you.

If not that the greedy generals that destroyed the country, Nigeria would have been a fantastic country by now.

God bless Nigerian doctors.

It's not a matter of let somebody shout hallelujah. They said those twins shared one kidney ABI liver? Wetin the other one go dey use now? ABI govt don dey produce human spare parts ni? Or I'm I the only dullard here?
they shared one liver, luckily for us the liver is one organ that grows to normal size if cut.

So each of them could be given a sizable portion enough to maintain their body system pending when it grows to full size again.

Was the liver grafted from another baby? Or new one grew through stem cells?

Please any good brain?

I bet we have the best professional doctors in the world but our government are not helping matters with amenities and infrastructure.

You are right.

I was in a University sometime and heard two professors discuss. One was telling the other that one Prominent Islamic leader of late memory(name withheld) who traveled abroad for medicals and died there years back was referred back to Nigeria. He was told that the best person for his case is in Nigeria. His own Doctor who worked at the UCH Ibadan. Before he could prepare to come back, he died.

To be candid Nigerians are very good in their various fields. Including 419 grin

I guess the liver was cut into two equal halves because the liver grows to full size if cut. I don't know how exactly it works but it grows back.

do you know you can start selling parts of your liver for cash? wink

Exactly my question. They didn't state how the doctors resolved the issue of a shared liver.

Kudos to d medical team...
But Buhari will not use them, despite their prowess.
He will still run to London and gum his nyash in Oyibo hospital for 4 months, finishing our Nigerian money in the process.

They both were sharing one liver, how did they work around that factor? Just curious

The liver cells regenerates when cut. Within a short time, each twin's half liver would have grown into normal sized liver. No other organ can do this.

This is great from our Nigeria surgeons. May God bless you all. Government should ban medical tourism just like they banned importation of rice into the country and see our doctors do wonders in their profession.
