Now this is something I can actually get excited about. I wanted the Lakers to get him before the season started but they couldn't. Huge fan of Mook.
We'll need to give up a lot for it to happen.

Continuing our "Rondo Out" propaganda.

I don't think anyone is disputing Bron's impact. It's as clear as daylight. Anything happens to Bron, this team does not make the playoffs.

Seeing what Luka's doing in the NBA, I think a team like Cavs without a PG should look at Facundo Campazzo of Argentina (he plays for Real Madrid too and Luka played with him). Dude is really really good, he was arguably the best player at the world cup if not that Argentina lost to Spain. I don't know if there's any downside to his game, but Compazzo is better than 70% of the guards in the NBA today.

The saints need to do in the draft next this year what both the Ravens and the Seahawks did last year and that is draft a speedster with good hands to take the top off the defense.
yea. They do have a first round pick, so jeudy/Ruggs...Great WR prospects and that Oklahoma guy, lamb...you can't go any wrong with any of these guys. Strongest WR class in years IMO.

Favorite rumoured Lakers trade targets.

1. RoCo
2. Mook
3. Bogdanovic
4. Crowder
5. Bertans
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:28pm On Jan 07, 2020
On a second thought i'd swap bertans and crowder.

AD has declined the 4/ year $146 million max offer from the Lakers. He will enter free agency as an UFA next summer, the Lakers will retain Birds’s right of first refusal.

Was a lack in WR depth the problem for the Saints this season? I personally don’t think so. Also, Jerry Jeudy is a good route runner, not a speedster. The speedster deep threats in Alabama were Ruggs and Jaylen Waddle. It is very difficult to get a combination of speed, route runner and great hands in a WR, that would be perfection. I do agree that this year’s draft class has the nest WR class we have seen a long time.

The Vikings defense simply played them within the numbers and dared Brees to beat them deep. One of the reasons the saints could not is because Drew in recent times has found it difficult to push it down the field, but the other is that they don't really have any receiver to take off the top of a defense.
I agree with you that Jeudy is not a speedster, even though he is the best route runner available amongst the WRs coming out.
PS: Drew is also a free agent, is it possible both him and Brady are playing for different teams next season

AD out for a few games. Doesn't matter if the lakers lose, they have that luxury.

Brees has always lacked real arm strength. He's usually relied on precision and it explains why he usually struggles outside the dome especially in January.

They do need a receiver that will take the top off defenses and it's a bit surprising that the Saints have no half decent second option at WR. Ted Ginn is washed and they need to cut him ASAP. They are sorely lacking someone that can compliment Cantguardmike and more importantly take the ridiculous load he is carrying off of him

All he's got to do is score 60 points tomorrow, and all his sins would be forgiven. grin. Fans generally have short term memories. When he scores 60 tomorrow, the narrative would suddenly shift to "he is up there with jordan as one of greatest scorers of all time" meanwhile the guy gets a major component of his points from free throws, and he is averaging 25 shot attempts per game. On his post season struggles, it will likely continue until he properly diversifies his shots during critical moments of the game. He drives, drives , tires himself out, then starts bricking. grin. Sometimes i can't help but think he's a rich man's original bricklayer(west), as breathtaking as he plays sometimes.I still wonder why the rockets don't realize that putting two bricklayers together doesn't augur well. We will likely see the artistry of bricklaying in full effect come playoff. grin. Missing 27 straight 3-pointers would be child's play. Or perhaps the league could help him out by awarding as little freethrows as possible in the regular season. Maybe he will learn then, and be more diverse in his shot selection . But I have to admit some of those 60-point games are nothing but sensational. grin

I wont even attempt to complain about this beating. I want to see what Kenny Smith, a former Rocket has to say about this game. What he says and doesn't say will tell me how the GM and new owner are viewed by the longtime Houston fan base.

As I said before, this team's chances of competing for a ring has been gamed by a mathematician for short term ratings.

The first NBA All-Star ballots precisely how I expected them to. I had zero doubt in my mind that Doncic will be the lead vote getter at this point.

And as expected LeBron is ahead again. See what always happens is bron fans try to be reasonable and vote fairly. Then we realise the bron haters aren't doing the same so we stop voting for their faves. Three time all star captain! Let's Go!
