I am watching GoT again. Please don’t judge or blame me, my brain has forgotten a lot of it and it is great to watch again! I have been watching it on the dstv Binge channel but decided to get the dvds out because two episodes didn’t cut it for me.
I observe that Jon Snow loved that very wild wildling girl. What he had with Daenerys was very disturbing. He is still awesome- adorable, I forgive him for Daenerys, lol.
Daenerys: very,very power hungry and intoxicated, to the point of madness, with a saviour persona mask. Just try to counter her and find out the hard way.
Bran: had magic, mystery and fantasy plenty attached to him. I see how he became the King in this fantastic fantasy lore. We forgot in our excitement about Daenerys and co.
Joffrey: a total horror, moulded into that by Cersei I guess. I forgot how much I enjoyed watching him die.
But Ramsey: a creature that I have no words for- evil personified.
Another horror is Stannis Baratheon’s wife.. a sanctimonious, judgemental and unfeeling zealot. Her child burning haunted me some.
Oberon: very exciting but just too stupid- all impulse, no logic.
I can’t forgive Robb Stark for reneging on a betrothal contract as a king and choosing “love” with that woman. He spoilt a lot of things and I am still mad at him. That didn’t stop my heart from breaking when he lost it all. He took a piece of my heart along, just like his father did.
Arya: just that girl that you want your girl child to be, when all chips are down and you have to face the truth. She’s strong, independent, and more...
Littlefinger: just slimy, all politics, no humour, no soul.
It is hard to hate Jamie Lannister, and many more observations.
Anyway this is just to see if anyone is watching too. But the main thing is to ask if anyone has the book? In my experience books always trump the movies and with the way I love the series the way I did/do? I can only imagine the way reading the book would make me feel!

You should see my seasons one to three. They came together in a bound leather/wood chipping case with gold and black lettering. It was costly when I bought it but I had no access to the 150N ones then. I got it from amazon too. This is a reminder to ask the person I lent it to to return it.

Like a bad joke, this show ended two years ago. Time waits for no man. A friend's wedding I attended in 2016 has him raising children of about six years of age. Every detail regarding the wedding is still as fresh as yesterday.
