I recently upgraded my laptop from windows 7 to windows 10 and my dedicated video memory is now reading 0mb from 60mb. The few games i have are no longer running again and my graphic apps are now very slow.
Please someone give solution.

Hi.

In order to have a fully functional laptop, you need 2 things namely; the OS (windows), and Drivers.

Now you have the OS (Win 10) already. What's left are the drivers.

In this case, the display driver as well as some other drivers are missing!!.

So, how do you go about this? Let's walk you through, shall we??

Method 1. Requires internet.

First, get to the device manager [in the start menu, type "device manager" and hit enter or select it with the mouse. ]

Now that you're in the device manager, look for "display adapters" , expand it (not like it's rubber —just click the tiny arrow by the side). This will reveal the type of display adapter.

Then right-click the display adapter type. Then select update. A new window opens >> Select the "automatic search and update" option.

Then wait. ... yes, Wait while it searches and install.

Once done you should be able to run your softwares.


Method 2.
In this method, you get a DVD containing the various drivers. Simply insert and run >>> then select the display driver >>> and install.

There's a high chance that drivers may be required for numerous other peripherals aside the display.

You may want to put that into consideration

This could be as a result of several things ranging from bad/failing hardware (RAM, Wi-Fi cards etc) to incompatible drivers.
This issue could also be caused by interrupted /incomplete updates.

Your best bet will be to troubleshoot your hardware peripherals (RAM, WI-FI cards, Processors; if removable, etc) one after another.

If that doesn't cut it, then we that you update the drivers of your PC or respond to update requests.

Same? Then backup your files and re-install windows, then re-install your programs.

thanks for responding boss, I just try something and it work I remove the battery and I was just using it without battery and it work perfectly,

after the light is interrupted I input the battery and it work perfectly again. and please how do I update my browsers and I don't see where to create shortcut menu on window 10

Hello.

If you observe that the caps lock light blinks, then try reseating the RAM.

Another quick fix is to remove battery and charger, hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Reconnect and power up.

That's just about the DIY tricks you can use.
If those do not work, then an in-depth diagnosis will be needed from a computer technician.

I was wrong about the hint on the type of windows you should have. Master collection can run on win 7.

Try this.

Could be a problem from the display connector (flex). U can use VGA/HDMI cable to connect to an external monitor if you have one.

your best solution is to allow the system to to automatically search and update it's graphics driver.

Follow these instructions to do that.
1 go to device manager on your system
2 locate display adapter
3 click on it to open
4 look for search and update driver and select it (this will require an Internet connection to download)
This should solve ur problem.

So, when you attempt installation, a directory where the program files will be stored is automatically created.

Navigate till you locate OOBE

The directory is:

On a 64 bit Windows
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

On a 32-bit windows
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

Regarding the pictures, you have followed the instructions, which is why we're having this conversation.

Try uninstalling the two "Intel HD graphics with exclamation mark on the side. Be sure to check the "delete Driver" button before clicking uninstall.

Then restart the computer.

Reinstall the drivers. After installing, restart the system.

If this persists, then you might need to install another copy of windows

I will really appreciate any help or guidance fixing my current PC issue.

I noticed my Microsoft Store Apps were reading error on start up "App can't start." I went online finding a fix and somehow I had to transfer Administrative ownership from the default Windows "Trusted Installer" on windows 10.

I thought that was the end of it. Out of nowhere, boom, none of my Microsoft Apps (especially those attached to Microsoft Store) are working anymore.

I've tried doing the Powershell scripting for reinstalling apps, it's not working. I downloaded Fix Win App, it still won't do it.

I'm just at a cross. My restore point are no longer at a later date. Help please, anyone.

I want to number my word document on my Microsoft word 2007, but I have been finding it difficult to do so.

I want the first five pages (excluding the front page) to have roman figure numbering format eg i , ii, iii, iv, v, vi, vii........ etc.

Then the rest of the pages to have the normal figure starting from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...... etc.

Please any help to go about this will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
