Please can anyone help me with this issue..? I updated my Dell Precision E4310 to windows 10 pro. Since then I've been unable to install some applications. It keeps telling me that installation failed because I don't have .net framework. I tried downloading and installing .net framework.. It won't install. Keeps telling me it won't work on my windows version. I've tried everything. Still won't work. I would be glad if anyone could help me with this please. Even if it would require me to come down for the fix. I'm in Lagos. Thanks.. 1 Like 1 Share |

Pls house, what might be the cause of battery drainage in my pc. I use HP Notebook. Each time I charged fully. And the next day I start my pc the battery has already drained from 100% to 88%. This is how the other battery died out and I replace it with the current one. (though the current one is not a new one). But when fully charged it last upto 3hrs. Any solution to this battery drainage problem?? |

Vasgas: Hi. Formating a HDD may slightly increase performance but not life span. A healthy HDD could have a few months to it's death date ***more like a person who's healthy but also 90 years old—get the picture ? *Cheers* |
Re: Windows 10 Problems And Solutions (official Microsoft Windows 10 links added) by Razak5(m): 12:43am On Dec 30, 2019 |
busyfingerzz: Hello. There are some applications that will require a certain version of .net framework to function. For instance, older versions of some windows programs may not install. Since you updated to win 10, there's a high chance you're still installing the same versions of programs you installed while on win 7. First, try installing a newer version of that particular program. You should do this if it's asking for an older .net framework like 3.5. ...... If you wouldn't mind, I'm also in Lagos. *Cheers* |

jubianose: Hello. ¹......This is a battery callibration issue. Well, at least that's what the battery expert says. ²......Sadly, it's an issue you may have to live with. ³......Why? ⁴......Simple. Over time, the efficiency of the chip that's responsible for everything power related to begins to drop. And readings wouldn't come true as they used to be... I want to believe this hasn't always been the case. So, 3 things to note: 1. The 88% reading might not actually be 88%... 2. There's a huge possibility that you're currently using a replacement battery (less expensive, like 4k to 7k) rather than the manufacturer battery (more expensive from 10k). Replacements are more likely to behave in such a manner than the originals. 3. Let's not forget that the battery is a used one, so such readings are likely to happen Finally, if 3hrs fulfils your mission, then all well and good —well, not really. Here's why : the continuous decline in performance of the chip (from line 4) will finally result in your laptop not charging again, then you'll visit a technician, then you'll have to pray that the chip is replaceable. Some chips have way too many legs that replacement may not work and you'll have to start hunting for another motherboard. *Not happening anytime soon but in the mean time, prepare your mind —it is always good to prepare your mind *Cheers.* |

Re: Windows 10 Problems And Solutions (official Microsoft Windows 10 links added) by smoke9910(m): 3:45pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
Breezzy: Enter search on your PC and search for device manager. When it open, you willl see the full list of devices. Enter bluetooth and when the device shows, right click and you will see uninstall among the options. Do not tick the box that says delete device driver, just uninstall and when the PC restarts. The device will be reinstalled. |

Engineers in the house I have been using a laptop for a period of 4years without servicing it(even though it has not develop any fault) Do I need to service it?? |
Re: Windows 10 Problems And Solutions (official Microsoft Windows 10 links added) by Razak5(m): 12:56pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
Vasgas: Hello. No. You do not have to. With laptops, it's more like "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" situation. However, you should be especially vigilant and observant of anything odd, y'know— excessive heat (when all you need is your laptop to make eba ) ; increase fan noise, fuzzy displays etc. Just keep watch....it's been four years y'know. If the laptop was Mr. President, some would be planning to vote him/her out. *Cheers* |
