Does medical request come with 2 emails from cic? Ddo they attach instructions and passports in different emails?

I am not sure if I understand you very well, especially the passport attachment part. But, did you link your application online? If yes, you can easily access the instruction. Either ways, medical request should come with a single mail ideally, but the system may send email twice and the instruction will still be the same.

Your question doesn’t seem too clear... But I think medical request should just be one email, expect in the case where you have more than one applicant(s). Meaning that everyone linked to that application that requires a medical gets a request too.

We'd seen successful applicants of the whole family in recent times, if you have the required fund available, convincing SOP and strong tier back home then you can give it a try but if no strong tier yet, you can apply for yours and let others apply after yours is approved while you use them as tiers.

I applied on July 1st
Biometric was done on the 8th July
Got confirmation email from VAC about completing my biometric on the 22nd of July
Do not start counting from the day you submitted online application or the day you did your biometric
Start counting from the day IRCC received your biometric from VAC
So in my case I'm currently on the 17th week and yet nothing ☹️Still waiting for medical request
The wait is killing me

Departure date is Jan 24 and got PPR today, exactly 3 weeks from this day. If memory serves me right, timeline for passport submission to collection used to be 2weeks on average but I learnt people are now experiencing delays with VFS. Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Thank you

It all depends on the type of application you made and got approval for, the 2weeks is an average time for passport transmission from you to VFS and back, but lately applicants are taking up to 3/4weeks to get passport back, will advice you raise webform or send emails of urgency explaining the need for your passport if after 2weeks you don't get it.
