They will just set road blocks and balance that their pay up. Police and others have been surviving with that strategy. They turned naija lemons to lemonade.

What is really happen to NIgeria, 13500 for grown men, what is the money really for, if it is for salary I wept for Nigeria.

I wish the recruiters can snub the work and focus on something else, but the last time I checked hunger in Nigeria is unsayable

At N13,500, they would eventually become the bandits you are looking for.
Exactly my thought baba. how could they even think of that small change as their salaries. These are men with family and most of them earn more than. Atleast 50k, with other incentives like HMO, Insurance and PFA. That's the only way all these men will put in their best and be motivated. Without motivation in workforce never u expect a magic.

Lol sister, Na job bring me here, I was lucky but being internet wise changed my life, Imagine each time i say let me visit naija, my white consortium we be discouraging me that its not safe, hahahaha, there was a time it got to a point they told me to point any lady of my choice over here, that they will see that I got married to any of my preference, just in case if it's because of lady I'm going back to naija.

Trust makes me become like family members with them, imagine vacation together and you white consortium went back on business trip and ask you to move around with the wife. A very Young and pretty wife for that matter, moving around or going swimming with her does not mean Sex, because the trust is there .

And we share hotel rooms that is always linked together by both parties opening their doors. Hotel Rotana for example, While the husband was away for like a month as duty called. Trust Trust Trust, I don't think with my di-ck but how to make more money on my mind every Monday to friday.

Those guy are doing the work without paying before. Governor should encourage them but if they pay more than 50,000 you will see many graduate join and do nothing. The work is for rugged people not for lazy people.

As much as I like this ametekun idea I also have my fear.

Going by what we see our men in uniform do on the road and everywhere, I hope proper measure is taken to avoid increasing such menace in Southwest.

We all know an average Nigeria like power, once we are given an opportunity to exercise a little authority we over do it.

More also, hope they will even be careful enough to recruit people who are psychologically healthy or mentally stable and not like some men we have in Nigeria force today who are chronic drunks and chain weed smokers.....people who would pull trigger at any slightest provocation endangering the life of the innocent citizens they are meant to protect.

I pray they don't turn out to be another bad thing we will all begin to regret at the end.

Lastly, looking at the amount (N13,500) the governors are planning to pay, I can't help but imagine the kind of people that will be employed to be paid such amount.

Definitely, not people with visions ......I don't see anyone in his right senses accepting such monthly salary to endanger their lives except street urchins, and that take us back to my expressions above.

The kind of people that will accept to be paid such amount endangering their lives in the name of security maybe those that have no value for their own lives....risky!

#50000 and a private soldier earns #48000.
I think we should talk about how the soldiers welfare will be made better.
Our soldiers salary should be a shame to the federal government.
No private soldier in the Nigerian army can boost of a reasonable amount in his account once the month hits the middle, these are people we should try and make their lives better, men that are giving their all to Nigeria.

Why should somebody expects the personnel of this newly outfit in the south west to reason that they are risking their lives on humanitarian basis while the governors, legislators, commissioners are not doing same. Rumerate these gallant people properly and stop playing humanitarian card. Everyone has one life and the irony is nobody ever comes back from death. I remember the reward of the teachers is in the heaven which actually in today's reality speaks volumes l mean ' hallucination '

Their salary is more than that of civil servants

Dont mind them if they dont ant the NGN 13,500 they should leave the job. see people wen needs help in the form of jobs doing shakara/

Are they not farmers, hunters etc and this is an additional income stream apart from the benefit they also get by keeping the area safe.are they not going to enjoy the safety of theier environment as well

With this kind of mindset of entitlement i already forsee problems and Federal govt should cancel the approval to the states because we are breeding another kind of kobo haram because they have already shown disatisfaction in accepting the jobs and have experineced in handling weapons.

Lets empower our poilcemen and forget all this yabanga groups that we will find difficult to control in the future.

Look at a slave happy because he wants to be a European citizen, because he wants to finally certify and legalize his slave-status. Continue in your servitude. And whilst you are at it you can ask for your manacles too. I am abroad too, but I am tired of being called a monkey every time because I am African. I am tired of being asked, 'why do you guys keep coming to 'steal' our jobs?' So I want to come back home, to my beloved Nigeria, to my beautiful Africa. This brings to mind the question Lucky Dube once asked in one of his songs: 'Do you want to be a well-fed slave or a hungry, free man?' It took me a very long time to finally be able to answer this question.
Nigeria is my country, and good Lord, how proud I am of her! The elders say that 'A monkey may not have good looks but its mother is proud of it.' There isn't any other that she'd rather have as child
