Hello House, I need info on how to apply for tourist visa and get approved quick. What will be the total estimated cost? How much do I need to have in my bank account for the 6 month stuff? Can I extend my one month tourist visa? How long can I extend?

Thank you all.

No passenger train tickets from Joburg to CPT, either by road (18-20hour) or by air 2hours.

Thought as much.

Please those who submitted to vfs recently did they ask you to authenticate your WAEC and A Level result at both ministry of education and Foreigner affairs?
I submitted my Visa application today, I only certified my BSC certificate which happens to be my last academic certificate as requested

No, went by air. I'm thinking you could go by train. It might be quite a distance travelling by road. It was almost 2 hours (1:55min) by air.

Lagos please. I also noticed that Visa processing in Abuja is faster than what we are seeing here in Lagos. I was asked to get two months extension from my school while school is starting on the 20th of January

I believe there are other threads for Australia entries on Nairaland. I'd suggest you go through them for answers to your questions.

Na wa o, this SA visa thing is indeed pain in the head. I am planning on touring SA this year as part of my travel history. But from what I have read so far, I am not encouraged with the way the processing stuff go.

Pls gurus in the house, which other African country do u think I should sub for SA. I have been to Ghana and Dubai. Just want to burst my travel history once more.

Thank u

Go to Zanzibar or Seychelles or Mauritius, forget South Africa, it is not what it used to be. You are just giving them free money to put into their economy so they can fund their welfare programs.

It is a beautiful country but its "soul" needs deliverance from all the past evils that are haunting the people that live there who use liquor, promiscuity, rape and violence to camouflage.

This is deep. But I think you are correct. They have a violent past that is hunting them.
