Lost my DS this morning, 16weeks and 4 days. Been admitted in the hospital since Saturday after continuous pain all through the night. Doc suspecting fibroid degeneration as that was what they were treating for. Looking back now, I guess all the constant pains were red flags angry sad. Signing out, team July

Modified: as a first timer, what do I need to do to heal faster, the fibroid pain is still there, ..

So sorry for your loss mummy. It is well and it will surely end in praise.

Hi everyone, pls who knows about Ogunlana hospital, Ikorodu. I'm a first time mom and contemplating on using there.

Also, my mom says she prefers Govt hospital while DH prefers private. I'm yet to register at any as I don't know which to use.

Why not use Ajayi hospital or oak hospital at Agric for private. I used ikorodu general hospital and asides the stress of having to go early and registration wahala, they have specialist doctors for maternity and it's also affordable.

Fast forward to 37weeks scan say my baby is 3.4kg naso I started panicking oh..I stopped eating oh ..because I was scared of the way people talk about stitches.

On Saturday evening,I took an evening walk, while at it,I was on the phone with my sister and she had been telling me to take castor oil,so I summoned the courage that evening bought castor oil on my way back home, took about half the bottle immediately I got home and infact the effect was immediate,I started stooling,I did a couple of times then managed to get a little sleep though I could already start feeling light contractions. At about 3am I just couldn’t stay in bed again,I knew that was it,I walked around, then started timing the contractions,at 4am I woke DH to get ready,5am we left for the hospital. When the contraction comes I would shout ‘stop the car’!...when he stops I’ll still be the one to shout do you want me to have this baby in the car Just move! and make sure you don’t shake me!
HOSPITAL: Water broke while they were getting vitals,I was 5cm,I had requested epidural, they tried discouraging me since I was progressing fast and it would slow me down but I no gree oh,epi was fixed but mehn...I was till In pain.
I had told hubby I wanted videos, when he tried to make one I was like “you that’s what you came here for abi”? Just go outside...lol,plenty other drama,I was just begging God,doctor, nurses, everyone for help till 9:15am when my baby boy popped out after about 4pushes leaving mummy with a tear.We are fine and back home...Thank God for mercies.Safe and swift delivery to everyone.

So I am 32 weeks today and so happy and grateful to God for the journey so far.Every thing that can go wrong with this pregnancy has done so but God has been there for me all the way.
My confessions are positive that I and my baby will live.
I pray for all pregnant women that God will make the journey smooth for us.

I stay at Elepe, after Itamaga. Ikorodu General hospital is good but I think is far from me. Cos I'm looking at going there weekly for antenatals and what of late night or very early morning delivery? We are still praying for a car, but don't know how early it'll come. Pls what do u feel? I'm approaching 13weeks and haven't registered for antenatal yet although I'm taking folic acid and ferrous tablets daily. I'm beginning to think it might not be good for my baby.

Good afternoon bellefull mamas, I have been a silent but registered mama at 39 weeks plus. So I went for my appointment on Monday and I had a bp of 97/57. The midwife suggested I see a doctor that my bp is low and asked if I was eating well or not. On seeing the doctor, I was told it was not a big deal. However I notice I get tired easily and I always feel like sleeping all day. Please has anyone had this experience and what is the way forward. I am scared I may not have enough strength for labour.

anyways we got to hospital and I was 3cm dilated after 3hours still same thing ..that was when they pass drip oh... The pain increased but i discovered my pain tolerance is 90% that day .. instead of drama I was just on that bed praying and drinking glucose water it helps ... no loud screams at all ... Since you stay at Elepe, you can use Ijede general hospital if you want to use a govt Hosp. Registered there for antenatal during my 1st, but delivered in the private hosp I registered with because of HMO.

Mine stopped before 12weeks.

15 weeks tomorrow. Currently not feeling a thing. Even the excessive hunger has stopped. Now back to eating three times a day. Ah cant believe it!

If I had not been through this journey before I ll be doubting the viability of the pregnancy.

Make we enjoy second trimester before all the tiredness and Braxton hicks begin in the third trimester.
