I woke up this morning to check my engine oil and this is what I found out...

Dipstick tip is broken. Any worries? How do I remove it house?

cc

I don't know if there is any implications (I leave that to expert in the house)

But on the removal...get a magnet stick it to long pole and dip it in the tube ...that should remove the other broken end..or tie strongly to a rope

I agree.

If he has a GTBank salary account, it’s a 1.33% monthly which is a bit fair. Cooperative society is still the best where they offer 5% total interest rate and even dividends. I’d been there. Took a loan for my first car which I later sold and made a loss. Asides, loans are so easy to take but when you start paying back, you’d feel it.

I for one don’t like being stressed; I always end up liquidating such.

As much as he wants to look at the bright side of things, he should think through your advice too. Best to see your car and be happy than seeing someone mishandle it (Gazzuzz gave me this advice).

All the best bosses!

As Nigeria never gree gimme License, im trying to understand this vehicle better, been paying attention to all questions and answers all day long.

I have these few questions.

I heard it's possible i can swap these rims to allow by just adding some money instead of paying full.

1. Is it a good deal?
2. Like how much should i be looking at, both new and toks?
3. If i also intend changing the four tires as well, how much should i be looking at both new and toks.
4. It comes with a 15 tire, i have raised it a bit cos of the potholes wey full lagos, when I'm getting the new tires, should i stick to the 15 or get a 16.

Tnx, I av a biz am doing, but not going as expected..am planning to pull out of it. And use d 1m I invested. Den get a loan of 1m. Which I will pay 100 monthly.. with dis plan I hope I can meet up.

What r d reasons y an account with Uber or taxify will be suspended

You can do it as long as you drive from morning till evening on Saturdays and sundays (it means Sunday church services suspended till further notice).

You can start getting ready for work 30 minutes earlier than you used to so you can set destination on your app every morning and every evening when you're going home (that's if the distance is worth it)

If you're not so sure of yourself achieving this goal yet, you can get a car on rentals for a month and use the above strategies, if you can pay conveniently for a month then go get your loan. Good luck

If you don't do fraud and make sure your rating doesn't drop below 4.5 you will not be blocked

Hell boss, please do I need to do any other thing aside having a valid driver licence to be a driver on Uber placed on rental agreement?

Yes, you have lots to do;
1). You must know how to drive and be a good driver, many here only obtained the license without acquiring the knowledge to utilize it
2). You must be determined to follow all traffic laws
3). Develop the spirit of patience and perseverance
4). Develop sound customer care mindset
5). Have deep understanding of the business and the business environment
6). Be security and safety conscious at all times
7). Have it in mind that if anything happens to your rider while on a trip (not offline trip) you will be held responsible
8.) Remember, no one out there gives a fvck about you, very few brothers keepers out there
9). When driving at midnight, always maintain the speed lane (Ikoyi/Lekki axis)
10) when driving at midnight never go beyond 100km/h (Ikoyi/Lekki axis)
11) when driving midnight watch out for any slow moving or strategically parked damfo or minibus without number and do the needful, those are the government certified armed robbers
12) when you got a request for a cash trip, endeavor to inform your rider your terms for cash trips before commencing the trip
13) If you aren't driving your personal car, be careful of the car you go after, majority of those cars are cursed, as soon as you lease it, it takes your money, takes your time, makes Kazeem and his family your best friend, gives you low rating, and at the end of the week the only money left with you is your weekly rentals. Be careful of these devourers. I think drivers should start posting pictures of their car license plate here as soon as they lease it, so that if it has any bad records its previous victims could raise alarm.
14) When LASTMA or Taskforce jump infront of your car, close your eyes, horn, turn on your hazard light, press your accelerator to the end and clear that obstacle (you're on your own)
15) Always pray before you leave your house, ask God to give you the grace to overcome the temptations of that day.
16) Finally, never abandon a fellow driver in times of need, it might be you tomorrow.

God bless you

Sorry to hear that about your business.

Not a bad one.

I’m also of the opinion you shouldn’t do beyond a 1.6m if it’s a Corolla. 2005 model is just ok, that way, you can do a comprehensive insurance of say a 40/50k, Reg. 45/50k, tyres about 40k, and a few other expenditures.

Account suspension could come in any form ranging from too many cancellations; Uber might not even give you a specific reason.
E-hailing is just a means to an end; not an end in itself; you’d see for yourself with time; you go to bad roads and have to repair the vehicle with what’s made in some instances coupled with very low fares.

Since you’d be doing weekends; commission would be on 20-25%. Do the maths.

Whatever you go with, I wish you the best.

God bless you!

Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

An accidental car isn’t such a bad deal as long as the frame isn’t damaged and also the airbags are fine, no rusts

Go with a trusted mechanic.
