Please how do you check the daily interest?
you would have to note the present day's interest, and the following day's own. then you'll subtract from each other e.g subtract today's interest (N10) from yesterday's (N9), the answer you get would be divided by the principal or capital (N10000), multiplied by 100%. the answer would then be multiplied by 365.

10-9 =1
1/10000 x 100 = 0.01
0.01 x 365 = 3.65%
for the above sample 3.65% is your interest rate

Please is this how u get ur interest in stanbic? I don't get mine daily

Those figures are part of your interest being reinvested not necessarily your interest.
It is done weekly or thereabouts

To get your interest, take your available balance each day and deduct previous day's balance

To investors of MMF
1.Rate is low but your money is secured, so do not follow the bandwagon to invest in products where your principal is not even guaranteed. The low rate can still be reversed in the future.

2. Beware of Digital agriculture, their rates are good but you don't even know the characters behind the scheme. Absence of proper regulations ensure the proliferation of many schemes geared towards fleecing the unsuspecting investors. Few could have good intentions and founded on strong business principles, your part is to carryout due diligence.

3. Is stock market for you? Stock is good if only you can thread on the dangerous water of the market. Do not jump into based on the present uprise of the stock prices, the gain can reverse within short time. Trade on stocks with sound knowledge. The entry point price matters alot. For novice in stock trading, enter when the prices are relatively low and buy only stocks with strong fundamental with annual dividend payouts. Do not become cheap meat for Big dogs.
Nice summary of the way to go in challenging moments like this. My people, embrace the wisdom in this....

I check mine everyday but they don't add it everyday. Sometimes they add for two, three days at once.

And the next time I check they have reduced it.

Its supposed to be done daily but its not so with FBNQuest.
Re: Mutual Funds by Apus: 12:22pm On Jan 16, 2020
FBN deducted about 11,000 naira from my account this morning. Called Customer care and sent e-mail,no concrete explanation has been given yet. Guess it's time to port. Enough of the loyalty.

Good day narialanders,
I went to FBNquets office in Maitama since Monday morning to fill out the necessary form for MMF, till date now response. I called the rep that attended to me, she promised that at the end of today 15/01/2020 it will be processed and it has not be processed.
My questions is can I move to stanbic or even something else?
Also with these NEWLY advertised fg bond, what is the lowest amount and can I get it in commercial bank, if no where can I get it?

IyawoTobe warned me oooo, though it can late.
Yes you can try stanbic, ARM, investmentone or any other that will serve you. It's better you do your due diligence and have confidence in whoever you want to manage your funds. This life is to short to waste it regretting ..
There is a thread for bonds here on NL, you can find it and learn from experience people there.
Nevertheless, you can get it from commercial banks minimum of 2years tenure and a minimum amount of 5k maximum 50million
Note that FG bond is different from FG savings bond.

I hope this is not another form of MMM in disguise. I checked their site out and saw the design like MMM. For instance, you sponsor a farm(more like providing help), you wait for a period of time during which the sponsored farm grows(similar to mavro of MMM growing), then the interest with the capital is paid(just like GHing). After which you recycle or walk away. There is also a referral bonus. I spoke with one of the agents and demanded that I see the farm before I can sponsor but he said because of security reasons, they don't show sponsors the farm. This makes me wonder if they really have a farm somewhere or not.

Please does anyone have more information about the Farm Funds Africa and similar platforms? Do they really have farm somewhere? If yes has anyone seen those farms in existence?

Kindly enlighten me more. Thank you

I just opened a Money Market Fund and Stock Trading account with United Capital

The process was smooth in that you must submit all required document and you dont need to step into their office to do all that.

I did it all online

My account dash board is impressive.

The rates are displayed for each of the products. I can make all kind of requests

I am impressed. I hope I will continue to be impressed.

They're really good, had some issues with aƧcount opening but they fixed it when I contacted them.

I wonder why everyone is not talking about them., they have stock trading, eurobond, mmf , trustee accounts , wills, bond fund.

Their rates are transparent, the bond fund is over 10 percent and mutual fund is around 8 .

Are they a trustworthy company though?
