A youth corper simply identified as Jon Balak reported to have committed suicide has been laid to rest in his home town, Ekakpamre in Delta State.

Johnbull as he is fondly called by relatives took his life over complains of life being unfair to him.



The deceased, a graduate of the Delta State University, Abraka reportedly took his own life by gulping a dangerous insecticide, Sniper.



Preliminary reports from our sources revealed that the deceased Johnbull hadn’t shown any signs of depression before the unfortunate incident even as his younger brother, Jerri Balak took to his facebook page to mourn his demise, thus;



I never wish to do this but I just hv to save it here

Suicide is not an option at all.......
You may think life is not favouring you or things are getting worst, this is simply because you haven't heard about someone else situation, and if you do, you'll be thankful






Just enjoy every moment of your life, don't let anybody or anything lead you to think foolishly to make suicide an option, these things or person doesn't give you the life you're living so why are you giving up. Keep pushing, keep living, intimidate what so ever want to intimidate you, depress what so ever want to depress you and you'll be free.

May we not be depressed.. May the lord give us the strength for the journey of life.... Such a cute guy with good physique... He just wasted like that... He never had strength to continue the journey...

Exactly... I don't really know what is going on

I have been through hell and back. Suicide will never be an option. Life is too precious. I feel sad for his lived ones. There is no situation God can't turn around. Even if you give up on yourself, never give up on LIFE.

Rly? Only if his so called family had shown more concern towards his physical, mental and emotional welfare, this might not happened. People commit suicide after suffering for a long time. I pray God 4give his sins and grant him d rest that he so badly needed.

Do you know what he was going through? It's people like you that irritate me, someone just committed suicide and the first thing to come to your head is insult. Later when someone else kills themselves we will be asking why they didn't say anything and calling them selfish.

You're missing the point. Some people who most likely don't know the physical or mental state of the people who kill themselves will start judging from afar not even offering the basic respect for dead. Many suicidal people feel like a burden to their families and society so when you make statements dismissing suicidal people as selfish and the reason for their distress as irrelevant you make it harder for struggling people around you to reach out. How is it fair to keep one person suffering for the appeasement of others, while offering no help?

I don't see how chastising people from beyond the grave is meant to help relieve the misery of the living.

I understand I was almost one of those people. But once I left that situation I got better. For people around you it doesn't have to be the end. That person who suddenly stopped talking or who is selling all their possessions for no reason just try to check on them. If kind words are all you can offer you have done enough. Suicide is a contagious mental disease but we can be the cure. Have a nice day.
