this is quite confusing though as i didn't make any payment for bio metrics but was asked to pay 8200 when i went to submit my passport and as bankyh1905 stated it was quite legit.

Yeah. Someone posted that Lagos has stopped collecting the fee where applicable because it’s stated on their website that if you did your biometrics at the same place, you don’t have to pay the package transmission fee. So it’s likely you did yours some weeks or months ago?

Aww..i know how you must feel. Must be exhausting. I've heard a lot of terrible stories with ETX. I have also heard good ones, my colleagues all used them, but abeg, i cannot dash anyone my 63k to get ABU transcript. I went through a contact in my ex-school. Sometimes, you cannot blame them, i think it has to do with the school.

i think you should wait a little or go to the school to know what the real situation of things are.

KsMom:
Have i entered one chance with ETX-ng
I paid for my transcript since early december last year and it has not gotten to WES
Should i just look for someone there in the school to help me or wait on WES till when they are ready
They dont reply or answer my messages.

The person who got pr from avo, what was the persons timeline, had it exceeded the 6 months frame?

I have no idea whatsoever, but Accra waiting timeline is crazy mehn. I learnt they work massively around this period and dish out PPR enmasse irrespective of your timeline. Fingers crossed and hoping on God for a miracle. Our medicals expire April

Hello house, quick question please, Can one use IELTS first attempt score if i get lesser score in second attempt? I’m asking this question because somewhere on the Cic website says that if one gets a lower score after they retake the language test, it must be updated on their profile and their scores recalculated.
I hope I’m not reading it wrongly though.

Yes it has.

Unfortunately, I’m too exhausted from the wait of almost 1 year to think up any PPR story. I’ve shared extracts from my GCMS notes on what caused the delay in my previous posts.
Congratulations!

@Setf.

In case you see this post, I'd like to know how you tackled the question you asked on part 8 (July 2019) regarding the error on your marriage certificate. It'd mean a great deal to me. Cheers.

I've already sent you a PM to connect and I couldn't quote the question cos the thread is closed. Thank you

Have anyone gotten PNP with HND from Nigeria in Ontario province. As the below info disturb me.

2. Education: You must have a Canadian bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree or its equivalent in another country.

Guys please I need help with Canada biometrics appointment at VFS.

I went there today for biometrics, they told me I need to first schedule appointment but I haven't been able to schedule it since morning. I am getting "You have exceeded the maximum no. of allowed appointments" error when I try to schedule online but I have never scheduled any appointment. I also sent them email to schedule appointment, they just said they'll get back to me, I haven't heard anything. I am trying to schedule the appointment for Monday, please help.

Maybe you started before and it logged you out half way.....Click on the last tab to your left...."retrieve an unfinished appointment" or something like that...it will ask for a ref number or your phone number. Input your phone number without the first zero at the beginning and it should bring up anything you have updated previously.

Guys,
I have a challenge with my WES. I dont know if to call it Big or not.

I did my MSc at University of Ibadan.
As i heard that for WES, they are not taking WAEC again & i just have to send my highest degree, i decided to send only my MSc( degree & transcript) to WES.
Before sending to WES, i took a pic of the copy of the transcript from the officer processing it & made a few checks before they posted it by courier.
I didn't see any error...!

After WES received my documents they requested for verification from University of Ibadan.
I kept waiting for this to be done, when it Dawn on me to recheck every detail of the transcript then i saw various mistakes.
One of the mistake is that a course was repeated twice. Another is that the grading of some courses were not correct.
Example: in some courses where i got over 70, the grade was E.

When i saw all these, i was so sad..!

I then decided to come here to ask if anyone has been in such situation before & the way out.

Can i write to WES to explain this?

It actually depends on your bank; GTB may charge you up to N285 whereas Sterling's current rate is about N267

What WES does for an Immigration ECA is to ensure you actually have a Masters. It does not emphasize on your scores. It just checks that the courses are masters level courses and that the school certifies that you passed. An Email to WES on this issue could elongate your credential evaluation process.

If you were doing WES to apply for a Phd, however, you would need to sort this issue out. Not with WES but with your school. Remember: anyone can send an email saying the school is wrong. WES would need proof that the school is making mistakes.

My point is: I don't think you should take this up with WES now because as long as you have a Master's certificate, your scores don't matter.

I think you should take it up with your University IF you need to do any future credential evaluation for a Phd or diploma.

I have a Masters from University of Ibadan as well. I don’t know about the course being repeated twice, but the E in front means Elective. You would see C and R as well, which means Compulsory and Required. It’s not a mistake

What that simply means is Canadian (equivalent) degree which I believe your HND should be upon evaluation. Hope this helps?

hi everyone,
I would like to know if CICRM is useful for Canada express entry through Wes assessment. does it count as a diploma and can it add to my CRS score? I have been considering CIPM but that would take me over a year to finish and will waste my time. CICRM is shorter but I would like to know if it is relevant in the process. anyone that has an answer should please reply. thanks smiley

Hello, did you finally use CES. Have you confirmed how they evaluate LLB?

Hiya, yes I am using CES. Submitted my application already. It’s worth trying while we wait for IQAS and may be better than WES as per LLB evaluation

ETX Na scam o. Paid for mine since 2018 and till now nothing. I mistakenly made two orders and paid 25000 instead of 12,500. Nothing yet. I used a transcript officer in the school. I’d suggest you do same

To the best of my knowledge I guess you can use any of your IELTS scores as long as it has not expired. The only time I guess an update is applicable is when a remark is done.
