The South West security outfit is a regional security outfit and not a tribal one. The main purpose is to complement the effort of the Nigeria security outfit, just like the Islamic police and the civilian JTF in the northern Nigeria also complement the Nigeria security outfit.


If anybody have a problem with this structure, they should go to court and stop make imaginary and sentimental issues


And please, it should be noted that the Islamic police and civilian JTF in the northern part of Nigeria since existence have not affected the country's unity and neither would the SW security outfit do underwise. However, it would further strengthen our unity and peaceful coexistence

even after all this a typical Yoruba man still thinks an igbo man is his problem. The online noise here is never a representation of the Nigerian reality. The biggest threat to disunity in Nigeria is the north whatever that they wouldn't benefit from is tagged as unnecessary. watch how this government will slowly disband this amotekun. between Tinubu and Osibanjo's silence on this is becoming too loud.

Unity is not by force, we have tried this unity for 50 years now and it's not working, it's time another option is tried. If going our separate ways is the only option left before we make progress then so be it

I am from the SS but i support those yoruba folks 100%. If there is any ethnic group that have done things over and over again to divide Nigeria by their ethnocentric bigotry as facilitated by the useless tribalistic president of the north by the north and for the north its those hausa Arewa folks. This Amotekun initiative was made simply to protect the residents of the South West. When planning it there was no part where tribal discrimination, secession or genocide was essential to its function. If you are against people protecting their lives and property from criminals then you are in league with the criminals!

Ironically Northern politicians are creating more supporters for Nnamdi Kanu with their incessant whining. grin
