ogbeni, hold it there. What of hisbah being practised in a secular country like Nigeria? Don't they have branches all over the north? What of the civilian JTF in the north east? Are they in any way different from amotekun? Hisbah is a sharia police and its unlawful to have 2 different police outfits in nigeria according to our constitution.

Cry from now till the end of the world, amotekun is here to stay. Before we act in the south west, we think deeply. My experience on Benin bypass expressway last Thursday on my way to asaba when the hersemen blocked the road, kidnapping and dealing with their victims would always make me support amotekun. Policemen were at a check point with their gun a few miles away from the scene but couldn't near them. Hundreds of vehicles stopped at a distance to allow the idiots finish with their victims before hitting the road. What a country! We are not cowards. See you comparing amotelun, a fortified and duly registered vigilante in uniform with opc and bakassi boys? If your people aren't happy about it, they should go to court.
And u think dis group can stop dat?d reason civilian JTF is succeeding is because northerners are more cooperative n united dan southerners. We r traitors..

You are the one crying here. Also u don't know where I am from so your reference to "my people" is pathetic and silly. The hisbah you mentioned is not a regional police but rather established by individual states house of assembly. And that's exactly how to do it. Constitution does not recognise regional vigilante. If states want to create amotekun they should go to their house of assembly.

Besides, the same u that is supporting amotekun brigade today will be the one to cry when robbers and kidnappers join the amotekun and start legitimately assassinating and kidnapping u. You dont cure one problem by creating another. We've done amotekun before, we had bakassi in the east and olc in the west. Both turned out to be even worse than the evil they claim to fight. At the end same people that were hailing them started begging fg to intervene. You guys have simply refused to have sense and learn from history. You prefer to make the same mistake over and over again

Truly speaking, Yoruba race is the biggest loser of the forced together of different nationalities called Nigeria. It is apparent that our progress is being slowed down at the expense of other regions.
Other regions of this country destroyed our momentum of progress. Yoruba race was the first in Africa to have Television technology, skyscraper building, stadium, mechanised farming etc. Where is the momentum today? To setup a common mushroom security outfit is a problem for northerners that cannot interpret laws but to always suspect and suppress other regions momentum of progress. Nigeria entity must be dismantled to enable us move forward as a people through our regions

Why name calling?
They belong to same family, look very much alike and people refer to both as Amotekun, but the original Amotekun meaning is Leopard.
Google is your friend Mr. Man.
Even if it's cheetah, does cheetah run at the sight of enemy the way some of you were portraying it? Is cheetah a coward?

Updated: check out the topic that differentiates the two.

It baffles me how Fulani is so much interested in this case. Na wao, Nigeria don finish. Assuming Nnamdi Kanu open church in 2014 and prophesied all these, by now him for don blow.
