You did well but I would never have double-pay.

I would have sat down comfortably on one of her chairs, called on any snacks and drink seller, bought more than #200 worth of refreshment for myself and ate pridely. I would only respond occasionally that I've paid her. It would be the passers-by and her colleagues that will hold her down that, 'let this man go'.

Okay I have this randy female colleague who had a boyfriend in my compound (we are tenants)

On a Sunday evening while playing game on my PS3, the boyfriend came to my apartment and started saying things, accusing me of trying to dent his image and asking if I am trying to sleep with his girl cause he didn't see a reason why I will say bad things about him. I was shocked and confused and was like from where to where, even asked if that was the reason he had not been replying my chats all days prior to Sunday? Well I stood my ground and said I didn't say jack about him to nobody, he even showed me a message where his supposed girlfriend said I said it and mention some things he shared with me. It became a full blown issue in the compound as I wasnt willing to let my name be dragged into this. Apparently, what happened was, there was a time myself and my tenant went to take jedi and baba lit up a cigarette. Unfortunately, a third colleague who happens to be my friend came to the spot to say hi, saw him and went to download everything to the randy girlfriend's bedmate/Bleep buddy who is a married man. Out of anger, the married man called her, yelled at her and in return she called her boyfriend and told him stuff.

Well I am happy I have being vindicated cause the ex boyfriend who doubles as my tenant actually knelt down to apologize and said he was sorry for wrongly accusing me(this was just last week). It might interest you to know that the randy girlfriend got engaged to another different guy and this happened weeks after the brouhaha.

P. S: myself, the randy female colleague, the third guy and the married Bleep buddy are colleagues.

Myself and the female colleague stopped talking a long time ago before that incident because she has a toxic attitude. (so you get why she might wanna pin it on me)

I hope you understand the epistle.

false accusation is the worst thing anyone would experience, especially if it involves a grave accusation that involves denting the persons reputation

I know how painful it is, because I have also experienced it, even though I'm yet to be vindicated, but my hope and wish is that my accuser's don't go unpunished

I hope and pray God will vindicate me some day in the future

A few years ago when I'd just moved into a new area, I walked into a shop run by a couple to buy an item. I gave the wife a thousand naira note. When I demanded my balance, she claimed i didn't give her any money. I was shocked. I calmly explained that i gave her a very new one thousand naira note, but both husband and wife didn't believe me.

At this point, the husband was getting very hostile and almost volatile. A few other shoppers, most of whom were friends with the couple, were present. They all supported the shop owners. At this point, I just fished in my bag and was about to hand them another one thousand naira note, when the husband found the one I'd already given them in a bucket where they keep their money inside.
He came out and was like "Aunty you say na new one thousand naira you bring? E be like say na im be this." The wife apologised and one of the shoppers present told me to be grateful that the man was even honest enough to admit he was wrong. I'd been humiliated for nothing. I left.

A few days later I returned to that shop to buy some things. The wife was shocked. She told everyone present how she and her husband had accused me wrongly, and how she felt I would never step foot in her shop again. She kept thanking me over and over again. Today, they are my regular customers and I shop there often.

Something similar happened when I was in yabatech. It was during exam period, so I wanted to get chewgyn and other groceries to serve me throughout the overnight jacking .
I gave the grovtery woman 500naira to deduct her 150naira from ,only for her to tell me I didn't give her 500naira as she doesn't have 500naira with her forgetting she already used it as change .
Students and passer-by gathered.the Shane was much as she kept shouting calling me names..had to drop all I bought without collecting my money.that was the last money in me but I swore she was gonna lose more than that if truly I gave her the money..before I left her shop, three crates of egg broke.
I was the happiest man that night..

Yes I have. Took a teaching job the year I graduated from school and was doing that while awaiting my nysc. Now those kids loved me so much and as such, they were very much interested in coming to school and this made their academic performance wonderful. Meanwhile, the woman teaching the other arm of the class was struggling with her own kids. Now, my class came first in all the interclass subject quizzes for the three terms. Next thing I know, the woman said I was having an affair with the head teacher that's y my kids were doing so well (how it relates to that, I never understood).

Now when the third term exams began, as usual she was to invigilate my class and mark my class scripts while I did hers. After about 3days into the exam, this woman reported me to the school management that I was having access to exam questions before time(exams that are being set from Lagos and sent to the principal o). I ignored her but to my surprise, the school management believed her.
Only for me to get to work the next day and discover that they sent a panel to investigate me all the way from their branch in Lagos. They removed me from their primary section and sent me to invigilate the secondary pending when the investigation will be over. They seized my class scripts and were calling my kids one after the order daily to ask them questions. It was so embarrassing because everyone avoided me like a leper. At the end of the day, the investigation was abandoned half way and the session came to an end. I never got to clear my name till I left them.
As if I already know this school. While let me not say what I almost experience from my own school chaaa, thank God I don't take shit from anybody .

The incident happened about 15 years ago but she confessed about 5years ago and I'm yet to recover from the shock. After we left school, I was innocently nicer to her as we've been through school times. When I relocated to abuja, I invited her to hustle with me so that she could get a job but she couldn't. When I equally got a bank job and relocated to minna, I invited her as well and she joined me but she couldn't get a good job. She eventually had to relocate to her state of origin and confessed to me years later of her crimes over on the phone. In fact, I wish she never did. I wish she took her crimes to her grave in secret. Ever since she confessed about 5 years ago, she's tried to converse or ask for money but I have continued to subtly decline every of her request. I can't seem to get over it. Lord help me!

I have been there .
I am glad you know Jesus now..
If the lord could forgive us of all our sin who are we not to

You need a serious healing process ,I did suggest you find sometime and pray for her passionately. I know it a difficult thing to do may the lord give you wisdom.

It also happened to me after I finished secondary school I decided to keep myself busy by teaching in one school, parents usually pay their kids school fees to the principal but if the principal is not around, then they can pay in to any of the teachers that is present, was surprised when one of the parents that those not pay his children fees said he pay in to me . I couldn't believe it , what scares me most was the fact that his family are feared by jazz.Thank God the proprietor trusted me enough , he told me not to bother myself that he knows him very well and that he'the parent' is also a drukard possible he has spent all on drinks. The proprietor assured me that nothing will happen as long as am sure he didn't pay in to me because the stupid man threaten to take my name to a native doctor's house , that was 2012 oooo. Really thank God am still alive today otherwise people will say haaaaa is true na that girl ........

I think my own case is different.... It was around last year July 21st..... I was living in the same compound with this young girl, she went missing for good 3 days and we are searching for her with her parents... Well, she was found after the 3rd day and started saying rubbish like she was with one guy blah blah.. Blah.... Although the guy was arrested for his action because the girl said he was sleeping with her everyday...
My part of it, the next day that the guy was arrested... I saw the girl and 2 policemen with a guy and handcuff... I was arrested.... I was extremely flaggerbasted about the incident, is not that am a fool but that was my first experience with the the police, I haven't be in the station before in my life.... I was told to write statement about how I knew this girl, I was totally confused, until this girl was called and the police said I slept with her and in front of me the girl denied to said that but the police locked me up for good 4 days.... Am shot of word, I was confused, I didn't know what to do because it was my first in the cell. That was when I learnt that you're hungry when you're healthy, I couldn't eat anything for that 4 days but show tears only, well luckily I was released the 4th day with the sum of 20k....
After I was released the girl messaged me on Facebook and I decided to know why did she lied against me but she told me that it was her neighbour that told her to lied against me like that, I was shocked and show the messaged to the friends and started the fight again but those idiots started begging me.... But it pain me like, oh! I don't know what to use to qualify the pain..... I feel like I was cheated because of my financial issue

Holuwahphemy:
Hello everyone.

Something happened yesterday and up till now I'm still boiling from inside .

Okay, here is what happened. I set out around noon yesterday to get a new phone at Ikeja. While I was about to board a bus to Oshodi where I'd connect with a bus to Ikeja, I saw a glo Sim registration booth. I asked one of the reps when they'd leave, and she said 6 pm. I promised to be back before then to get one. On my way back, around past 5, I went there and started the process. I was told to buy airtime immediately in order for the Sim card to work, which I obliged, and told them I'd buy #200 worth.

Immediately I collected my pack, I gave another lady who works with them and sells airtime #200. She collected my card, put it in her phone, loaded it and handed my Sim back to me. I thanked her and was about to leave when she stopped me and asked that I pay her for the recharge card. When I told her I had paid already, she erupted like a volcano. She began to raise her voice that passers-by stopped and began to watch us, she called me all sorts of names, 'Thief' being the most subtle of them. Her stance when I dared leave, and leave her to her ramblings, was that of a woman who would hold a man's collar and decorate his face with prints from hot slaps. She maintained I would not leave until I pay her, despite the fact that her colleagues asked me to go. I was so embarrassed. #200 was and is not my problem, I just didn't want to san'wo omo go. Last last I had to give her another #200 before she quieted down and allowed me to leave.

Later in the evening, when I got home I put the Sim in my phone, and the first call I got was from the said lady's colleague calling me to apologise on her behalf. She said immediately I left, she saw the money and she's ashamed of herself and couldn't bring herself to calling me and telling me herself, that's she's indeed sorry... Blah! Blah!! Blah!!!

She said I should come back on Monday to get the money. I told her I don't need the money again.

As I'm typing this, I'm so angry... Even with the apology and the offer to get my money back, I still feel cheated. Some of the people who witnessed our little drama would definitely not be there when she found the money. To them I might as well be what she painted me to be.

How did I do? Was I right to turn down the reimbursement? How should I have reacted? If you were in my shoes how would you have reacted?

Just go there on Monday, let the violent girl know for sure that u have paid, tell her wat the friend told u about how she located the money and tell her that u leaves her to fate if truly how she printed you is justifiable and geraot without collecting the money.

I remember during my 200l days, I was accused of stealing my neighbor's phone. All suspicions traced to me as i was the last person to touch the phone. He didn't take it lightly. He had me arrested. The phone then was one cheap kpalasa like that. (Flip up- Bird). That's the first time ever I would sleep in a cell. I was disappointed in my parents having to find out so I didn't inform them on time. After 5days, I had no choice than to tell my roommate to inform my parents. My father didn't even show up. Only my mom did. She swore heaven and earth that her child would never engage in such act. Eventually, the case ended after my mom bought my neighbor a new phone and all that.

10 years later, my roommate confessed to stealing the phone, my money and several foodstuffs. I just weak.

And u didn't place a curse on her/him??

It was during the u17 FIFA competition back in 1999. I was in Bauchi state then. I went to the back of the stadium where people are watching the games on TV. We were many standing there. While I was watching the match, a man tapped me at the back and requested that I should give him back his money. I asked him if he had given me his money. That was when he said I picked his pocket. I asked him to search me, which he did but still insisted I might have given it to my syndicate chain pick pocket friends. He was a grown up man and I was a teenager then. He held me by my trouser dragged me to the police and reported me. The officer in charge looked at me for few minutes after which he asked him to let me go. The man reluctantly let go of me. I was so sad and lost interest in watching the match anymore, so decided to go back home. When I got near my home behold the man pop up in my front still asking for his money. It was unknown to me that he was following me all the way. I pointed to my home and asked him to follow me home so he can talk with my guidance. He waited for a while and decided to walkaway. It was a terrible experience me and I couldn't eat anything that evening.

Also had such a bad experience too, it was a sunday morning in 2014, was feeding my dogs and gisting with a neighbour, we were there for close to 30-45mins. all of a sudden i heard my name from another neighbour that just came back from her usual Night hustle "Olosho"(which her apartment is almost 50meters from mine but in the same compound) shouting that i stole her Phone (Black Berry). Everybody gathered even from neighboring compound. The guys i was with defended me saying we have been together ever since i came out of my apartment, another neighbour that passed not quite long that saw me also defended me, but d lady insisted she saw me running out of her apartment. I was arrested, locked up. i had to pay for the phone. Everyone tagged me a thief, i later started hearing alot of tins like i was d 1 dt entered someones compound to steal chicken, i stole foam and alot of other stuffs. Had to pack out of the area only for me to discovered later it was my Landlady that was behind everything cos of me declining to assist her on some financial ground (she told d olosho girl to pin her missing phone on me and she started spreading rumour i was responsible for everytin stolen in the neighbourhood).

It was such a sameful experience, but i have moved on with life.

You should have told them to send #200 card

Back in the ol' days, I was at a Globacom concert with 3 of my road dawgs. We called ourselves 'the Goodfellas', i think we were in 300 level.

Among the people seated in the row before ours was a young lady and a guy we presumed to be her boyfriend. Suddenly, she started searching herself then exclaimed that her Glo recharge card was missing. After another round of searching, she declared the card stolen, turned around and started raining abuses on the four of us. This went on for hours and the least insulting word she used was thieves. Her yeye boyfriend even had the audacity to place a curse on whoever stole the card. We were so embarrassed and angry because we were sure that the culprit wasn't among us.

As the concert came to an end, accuser and boyfriend got up to leave and lo and behold, the missing card fell from somewhere...I think it was caught up in her dress. She started apologizing, I was too relieved to stay angry but De Niro was having none of the apologies. I had to physically restrain him from hitting the lady.

The unapologetic boyfriend, instead of borrowing sense and disappearing with his woman, stepped in to defend her. Omo I free De Niro o, everywhere bust in 5 seconds. Dem beat the guy so tey the babe leave am run.

NB: a recharge card was a big deal in those days. The lowest denomination was #750 I think.

Las las you na confam guy!
