Which Canadian university can I apply to for PGD in agriculture and what is the general application time in Canada. Is it possible to start the process and get a visa later this year?

You only apply for a PGD in a college, u only apply to a university for a masters. College PGD admission is a max of 6weeks or lesser.. yes it's possible to get admission and visa if u start early

That's a lot of things u want.. well.. basically, a student in canada is eligible to work while schooling.. if u are going for a masters, u can also seek funding (I don't really know how that works) but I know it's not easy.. but if u can go 3pages back and start reading, someone dropped pointers to getting that.. for the bolded, there's nothing like that.. a scholarship is with the school not with CIC..

U cant go for a masters with a 2.2.. u can apply but it's difficult to impossible to be given admission.. your best bet is to apply for PGD in good college in a course related to your bsc and experience

Hi Bibilucky1,

I'm not sure anyone will help you write to a supervisor in here. I'm afraid you don't want to act on your goals.

Anyways, here are some points to note when contacting a potential supervisor.

Check his or page
Find out about his or her research interest
Familiarize yourself with his or her recent publications.
Develop interest in one or more of his or her publications

Thereafter, mail him or her, explaining what you understand by his or her research interest and clearly discuss how you can contribute to his or her research team.

Eventually, express your excitement in working under his or her tutelage.

Good luck

Thank you for the points, you have assisted me but I don't understand what you mean by I don't want to act on my goals. I asked for assistance not necessarily someone writing it for me.

Thanks!

Hello, good people, please I need your advice. I'm currently residing in South Korea where I did my master's programme, but I want to relocate to Canada to do another master's programme. When I got admission in South Korea, my eldest sister paid for my first-semester tuition fee, but I subsequently paid the remaining ones through hustling while studying. Now I have completed my studies but I don't intend coming back home now. I'm currently on a job-seeking visa, so I want to know if I can apply from here without any problem? My eldest sister wants to act as my sponsor again and she has a very good account with steady cash flow and I also have saved some money here. She is ready to transfer the money needed to my account here and also send her Nigerian statement of account, house document, payslip, proof of family relationship and other relevant documents over to me. So, I'm wondering if my application will be affected as a result of my continuous stay in Korea without returning home? I have also travelled to Japan and other countries while here. Please, what is my chance of getting the visa?
NB: I'm also married and my wife just visited me here but she will go back to Nigeria later.
Thanks

Why don't you just try the express entry. That way your whole family can relocate at once

I advise your friend should come here and ask all the questions she will like to ask and know or better still starting reading all we ask and the replies given.... for the program, she should do a course related to her HND in a college not a university. That's my 2kobo

Hi
Please I'm just curious. I applied for masters in memorial university around november . Sent in my transcript and certificate by email and my letters of appraisal from my referees. Later on I found out I have to actually send in my transcript and certificate through post mail or courier. I emailed them and got a reply that I have to send it for it to appear on my checklist as official. Around first week of January I had my university send the documents through post mail to memorial . From my tracking , the documents arrived Newfoundland , CA last 2 weeks and since then I have been checking my application status and no update yet , sent an email twice to memorial gradapply and no reply. Please is there something else I should do?

I want to know the process of getting a scholarship student visa that can enable me also to work

You have to have a very high CGPA plus apply early for the scholarships because it's highly competitive. About working at the point of entry you automatically get a conditional work permit that'll allow you work for 20hrs during school session and 40hrs during off sessions.

p.s: if you plan to work to pay Tuition and all please ensure you have someone pay your first 2semesters or at least sponsor 60% if your first year expense so you don't get stuck when you get here. That's the reality of Canada. Working during school session (20hrs) is only good enough to pay for your living expenses.

You seem to have a good thing going in a lot of ways;
1. You have travel history and apparently no record of breaking any immigration law
2. You have a very very active sponsor that as a history of sponsoring you so you just need to get the proof of this in addition to what you have.
3. I'll advice you gotl for a PhD program or restrain from declaring your msc so you can apply for a msc program if you apply for another msc program you might have issues with "purpose or visit with the VO not understanding why you need to come over to Canada"
4. If you try the study route you can apply for your family via open work permit and all.

Advanced diploma in accounting. I'll advice forensic accounting or any other special accounting program that can't be done in Nigeria. Also for her age she needs serious proof of her work experience and a solid personal funds and assets also. Because Canada visa officers are something else

There are many schools just check websites like hotcoursesabroad, Ontario colleges etc... I will advice you get a school early this year and apply ASAP for September this year.

P.s: check Manitoba schools because the province is generally well known for agriculture in Canada.

Hello guru in the house. I’m new here. I need an answer to my question ASAP because the whole thing is bothering me oo

I submitted my Canada study visa application last week Wednesday

The problem is on my “Application made outside of Canada form” I ticked that I haven’t being refuse a visa before but I was 2018 at the US embassy. I hope this won’t affect my chances of getting the visa or the VO won’t find it it as an act of violating the rule? It was an unintentional mistake

All other documents are sent by my dad twin brother from the US(a citizen).

The best and fastest approach to avoid been ban, is to quickly file a new corrected IMM1294E form, raise a CSE to Kenya immigration office, and briefly explain in the body of the mail that the previous form was wrongly filled and thus humbly requesting that the updated form should be appended with your processing application. On the other hand, you may request for your application to be withdrawn. Either ways would work.

Sorry, but I thought the express entry is for people who have a job? I don't have an official job here and my last official job was in Nigeria in 2015.

guru’s in the house.

I recently got my study permit for Canada.
But I have to defer because it came days after my resumption deadline.

I’ll like to know if I will need to reapply for the study permit or I will just take an updated copy of my new admission letter with the deferred date.
