Supporters of Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Imo, flooded the streets of Owerri, the state capital, on Sunday, demanding a reversal of the supreme court judgement which ordered his sack.

The apex court had on Tuesday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to return Hope Uzodinma, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as winner of the March election.

Uzodinma placed a distant fourth in the results announced by INEC.

The aggrieved protesters wielded placards with inscriptions such as: “Ihedioha We Know’; “Democracy Has Been Murdered”; “We Want Him Back”, among others.

Most of them dressed in black attire. See pictures below

Supreme Court should reverse the judgement Abi?

In the history of the entire world that has never happened, If they do it once, it's means that their judgement is no longer final and a court that can't pass a final judgement is not a supreme Court

I don't know who is sponsoring all these drama but the person is senseless, nothing will come from this

Hired wailers.
Instead of them to cry for good governance and protest for better living standard, they are wasting their time crying over someone who is already a billionaire and whose children are somewhere in UK or USA rounding off their second degree.

Can someone please remind these Stone Age women that this is exactly how democracy works. They can summon amadioha if they want, but nothing will overturn the rule of law. In the 8 months that he was governor, Ihedioha has embezzled enough money to support his entire lineage for 20 generations.

Tis funny.. Are these people expecting the supreme court to reverse the judgement? 'cos I really don't understand the reason for their protest...
Even though i still can't phantom how the APC came from 4th to 1st nevertheless, this is not a case of DSS unlawfully detaining someone for a long period of time which, warrants a sort of retaliation in form of protests..
This scenario is totally different. Someone needs to enlighten those people that protests and crying won't solve this case at all... The court of Appeal is where the concerned party should channel their energy to..

angry I'm not surprised because after the supreme court verdicts, the next place to seek redress is the court of God. Anyways, I wonder why woman are used to solicit for injustice during the political era and ended up getting nothing or peanuts when the men eventually get what they want shocked

Whenever it rains, Umbrella is needed for shade.

Whenever the house is dirty, the broom is needed to sweep trash away.

If I don't have an umbrella, I could always use a raincoat.

If I don't have a broom, I could always use a long brush or rake to gather debris.

Now you are focusing reading my comment grin grin grin I gat you cheesy grin

They've been crying since the pronouncement. Na this one bible call "weeping and gnashing of teeth" lol

Jokes apart, this administration has destroyed all government institutions. No more confidence in the system. The integrity of our Judiciary is gone. Nigeria has never had it worse.
