MayorofLagos:There will NEVER be a time that yoruba youths will undertake an endeavour of this regional scale without the direction and consent of the elders. Is it the youths that bought all those jeeps and equipment? DAWN was never a secessionist initiative it was fake regional integration to put pressure on GEJ. It is OPC that was a secessionist militia powered by young men but formed by the elders under Abacha. Obasanjo became President and the elders/elite who had used OPC for security and clout tossed them in the bin. By the end of GEJ's tenure yorubas were calling OPC a PDP support group because they were given security contracts to safeguard the SW zone and pipelines by GEJ. Amotekun is a good initiative but it is a political strategy. The north knows this |

So because of the idea and sentiment of a single individual, the Igbo's are here raining curses and casting aspersions on over 50million people who have never heard or share the same sentiments, hmmm, its shows how gullible some people can be, Biafra is a tribal wish of almost the entire Igbo which they expressed albeit wrongly but this Bayo write up here is an individual desire not shared by the Yoruba populace so Igbo dance over this is a dance of shame, and I think they should be worried instead of happy because the day Yoruba's secedes they stand to lose more because we will not take them along, just saying. |

meavox:We would stand by you in every sense but we might be afraid of betrayal, so prove your point further. What is happening is really very pathetic. We must go our separate ways. |

Arubajagz:See why most people don't want to support IPOBs. Rather than be glad that another region wants to help them achieve what they have been clamouring for they would rather ruin their ambitions on top of bad bele. Later when things go wrong they will be blaming other people. |

vannessa7:You're 100% spot on. Let me re phrase it wella for them. The day the yorubas decide to split in an intelligent and effective strategy instead of the tribalistic one adopted by someone, we will never take the Igbos along. No one wants to take them, that's the sad truth. Just read the rubbish spewed from the first page of this thread by the Igbos. Sickening tribal minds. However, like all things in life, I won't generalise as my best friend is Igbo. And his crop of Igbos with 3cposure are very sound |

I wonder what would happen if/when Tinubu looses the 2023 presidential elections to a northerner. I also wonder how yorubas would react |

meavox:I am from Missouri State and Yari.ba peeps got to show me. Ndigbo and Biafrans had already fought a war about secession in Nigeria. Everybody in Nigeria knows where the Ndigbo stood on the issue of unity or lack thereof in Nigeria. What we have in Nigeria is a union not unity or even united. |
