Kid, you and that ekestic1976 should stop shaming yourself.. the university of maiduguri used to be one of the best in the country and even competing with ABU in the North if not for the security problems they've been having for decades.

Ure very very correct my brother

I will suggest you do a research about the university requirements for masters program cause it varies depending on program and institutions.
You are right but what I know is third class, one can't do master's with a third class certificate.
Re: Can I Do Masters In Nigeria With Second Class Lower? by Monday60655(m): 11:34am On Jan 23, 2020
It depends on the institution and the course. Some universities, like Ebonyi State University (EBSU) will subject you to one year "Post graduate study" if your cgpa is less than 3.0

University of Maiduguri can take you straight to the doctorate level with that kind of result and their fees are comparably low. For example, a 2-year Master course is only N25,000. Asking fees for Ph.D in any course for the whole length of study is not more than N75,000, including all handouts, feeding and hostel accommodation. They're really having it cool in Maiduguri.

Not with the disastrous state of security in that state...
Going there is suicidal

Yes. In Uniuyo, 2years ago, the minimum cgpa was 2.75 or so.
This is my alma mater, the minimum Cgpa is 3.00 for Masters programme.

yes, any university will take you.

Wow, that is really low result!
But the rate of the university is also low, so they will accept you.
In any case, you have the ability to look here (https://assignment-help-au.com/) to order your assignment to get the highest result.

Yea

I think a second class lower degree is just fine for M.Sc

Afterall, the minimum grade required to graduate with an M.Sc degree is still the same 2.2

But Nigeria and black man with black sense like suffer head too much

Go to the PG school of your university to make enquiries. Or Google up the entry requirements for a Master's degree programme in different Naija universities.

Do your research. Don't let people confuse you. All you need is the same smartphone and data you used to log into Nairaland.

Op you can but bear in mind that most Federal Universities that accept 2.2 , accept strong 2.2 (3.0 CGPA and above). Most State universities do not place any requirements on CGPA but grade. U can try some state UNIs but am sure schools like UNILAG only accept 2.1 . OAU, UNILORIN,UI,UNN, andABU accepts 2.2 (typically 3.0 and above. U can try ur luck though). Admissions into PG programmes is usually based on availability of supervisors.
Stop spreading fake news. UNILAG accepts 2:2 for Masters degree programmes.

okay fellow tuskite, your faculty decides to use such grade. Some faculties(e.g Social sciences,Arts, etc) won't accept anything lesser than 3.00.

How can a graduate of 2.2(second lower) from a polytechnic get to apply for masters or procedure on acquiring masters?
Anyone with meaningful response please help me out..

The fact that I did my masters in the tuskite republic doesn't make me a tuskite. My heart is with FUTY and that's where I got my first degree.
