Thanks.

I actually need the charts just for educational purpose.
I have done my findings with FA and it is a buy and I have also been accumulating at N2.4.
I need to determine what size of it should be in my portfolio, reason for asking for TA angle.
not a TA matter . . left to ur position size calculation

Ex:
Let say capital is n1 million
Risk is 3% ( ie u dont want to lose more than 30k per trade
Entry 2.40
Stop 2.20 (daz -8.33%)
Position size = N360,000
Number of Units= 150,000

so if the price drops to stop loss and u exit , u only risk 30k

Ex 2
same capital
if risk is 2% , meaning u dont want to lose more than 20k
using the same stop 2.20 (if u change stop , the number will change)
Position size is N240,000
Units 100,000
and bebe lo

u can build an excel to help with dis

cheers brah

You guys didn't ask the right questions that is why you got wrong answers. How can they not pay tax? And somebody has posted their AFS here but you are still arguing.
I'm i the one arguing or you guys? You are just baffling me! We Nigerians are simply amazing. I will never respond to this issu anymore. How can i be telling you about a company which i personally visited in Lagos, as a member of the directorate, in a team of Federal Officials and Commissioners, and got a report from the Management itself, which comprised it's accountants and auditots, to the effect that it is exempted from paying tax because it provides jobs to Nigerians. And we had to even apologised. This report was officially documented by an agency of the Federal Government. This report was picked from the horses mouth. And you are saying that you stand in a better position to tell me that Unilever is, on the contrary paying tax! That i am the one arguing. This is amazing. So Unilever lied against itself that it doesn't pay tax? I think Nigerians can be difficult! Please, I'm out of further argument about this.

Oga just keep quiet and stop arguing. Even if you’re told something, use your brain instead running with whatever you’re told. You’re now a subject of ridicule.

Your bosses have collected bribe and asked one of those guys to lie to you because you’re a yes sir subordinate.

You don't know what you're talking about, and you're just a bundle of chalatan, awfully lousy, disrespectful and bigotry! How can you think you can just rubbish a physical activity of national importance, carried out by an organisation with your post in nsempa ! You probably don't have a public service experience.
Kindly forgive me forum members. i will never talk about this issue anymore.

My organisation is not the the one directly collecting the taxes, it only verifies what is paid and evidence of payment into the Federation Accounts. The organisations that are collecting are amongst others, Customs Service and FIRS whose collections and remittances we veryfy. Unilever is neither paying to the Customs Service nor FIRS. Are these organisations also bribed ?
However, if you still believe that Unilever is paying, i have know reason to continue to argue on this forum.
Thanks.

Mr accrual, why would you accrue what you don’t pay? Is the taxes paid on the cash flow statement also accrued?

By his submission, taxes paid should not be there. Do you guys know about CITA at all?

Just tell us you’re the owner of Nigeria and you call all the shots. Mr national importance, who else does not know that government ministries and parastatals are the problem of Nigeria. That is the perennial breeding ground and perpetuator of corruption.

I went back to see that this issue was abundantly addressed before my post, yours is the case of a fly following a dead body into the grave.

You can contact him via pm to learn how not to pay taxes as an individual because you buy Nigerian products.

It depends on what you call respect, lying or ignorance might be viewed as disrespect. While a full blown tirade could be viewed as calling a spade a spade

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by onegentleguy:

The concerns presently surrounding the coy(ACCESS bank) are overblown.
There are 4 things here.

1) The ACT itself(sell off by the CEO in view)
2) The TIMING of the act(call off of an initially announced closed period for the coy in view)
3) The likely MOTIVE behind the act.
and
4) The asset PLAY from an investment perspective(risk-reward margin in view)

Of the 4, the 1st smacks off risk but because it is not DEFINITIVE in itself(there can well be over "a million" reasons for such an act), some of which can also be personally driven. So it(risk) still lags behind reward.

With the 2nd, RISK pegs ahead of REWARD because the timing came off at a wrong time, which smacks off suspicion.

With the 3rd, RISK and REWARD stands side by side with no clear inference. When viewed alongside option 2(timing), we could adjudge that risk is ahead but then again, because there can be several other good reasons for the act itself, it is again NOT definitive. ...so there's the need to look to strike a proper balance when seeking what could've been the motive or intent behind the act.

With the last(point 4) REWARD remains well ahead of RISK(ROI from FVE against price in view). ...which by the way, carries a more pivotal weighting.

This is why I said that there is something to worry about... but there is also something to not worry about.
Put differently, while the move paints a red flag(risk), the asset in question still retains a weigting(reward) ahead of it. In truth, there are a few a more reasons for optimism than there are for pessimism.

If time permits, I hope to do an article or maybe a brief on this later. People need to note and understand a few things.

Salah
On ACCESS, I do not forsee any further sale. ...pressure should now ease off going forward.
The banks closed period will now begin today(25th) and run until after the board meeting scheduled for Feb 10th, 2020.

A brief;

With all the concerns that sorrounded it, the bank only lost a minot approx 6.8% within the period that the M.D Mr Wigwe started and ended his selling spree(btw Jan 10-22) and until yesterday.

The stock(ACCESS) opened up for trade @ N10.95 on the 10th of Jan, and closed Friday @ N10.25... a minot 6.8% loss.
As I stated here beck then; the concerns were clearly overblown.

Fundamentally, the stock remains healthy.
Technically, the stock retains its bullish stance.

...let's see how things pan out from here.

It is well.

Cool down. First, I'm not working in Revenue bla bla as you suggested. Board members are politicians. The work is for beaurocrats who are supposed to educate and advise the board members . I said in my post above that we are taking the matter up in our office because their tax exemption is an anormally and can't be justified.

I stated the constitutional responsibilities, amongst others, of the institution that i was talking about, as agaist the one you claim has no clear mandate. This one has a clear mandate. This is not the forum for a comprehensive discussion of government policies and and departmental mandates. I only intended to make a little reference. You cant take me up here. A company is unjustifiable exempted from taxation and my office is trying to address the issue as i posted and i cant really fathom the reason for your outburst.
Brilliant, just like going to audit alpha beta consulting that belongs to the king of bourdillon and you discover they have been underpaying tax for years or even exempt from paying tax themselves... Which mouth will you use to ask show me the act backing this anomaly? You are a wise man jor!
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by owoblow77: 12:57pm On Jan 25, 2020
I didn't study accounting, neither work in finance.
A friend changed company some years ago. Before that time, monthly, his former company deducts pension contribution. He told me one day that he found out that his company had stopped remitting his contributions over a year, before he got another offer. Meanwhile deductions kept showing on his pay slip. His mistake was that he didn't think anything was wrong when he stopped receiving alerts from his PFA.
What if Unilever declares that they pay tax, but never remits to the relevant agencies? According to Toluway, his own job is to check, which his team did, but found no evidence of remittance. Maybe the taxes are "lost in transmission". Just saying.

Revenue drop but EPS went up with 87.87%. This is a very good result, if they can continue in this way, it will be good for the company
