I can't blame any party that much.

The mother in-law, Priscilla needed a baby but she used a wrong approach. I don't blame her much since she's not the biological mother of the late wife of Christopher, Faith. She also considered that if she lost this opportunity, she may no longer have a child in her lifetime.
However, she engaged in an abominable act.

The son in-law who lost his wife through complications of childbirth has been without a wife and he needed to offload konji. He also used a wrong approach by defiling his father in-law's wife.

The father in-law acted on trust but he was so naïve not have understood that his son in-law is a man who is sexually active and he could have envisaged this coming when allowed his wife to live with a lonely man.

To be candid, the guy and the lady are kids in thinking or else they should have manipulated the scene out carefully like this:

1) After the lady took in, she should have told the guy that she needs to visit her husband i.e father-in-law, for two weeks and probably take the baby with her.

2) If the guy want to refuse, the lady should explain the game strategy to the guy and the reason to allow the her husband lay with her.

3) The lady will return to the son-in-law for another period of say a month to cruise the prikk further.

4) The lady should carry her son-in-law baby and finally return to her husband to stay and by this time the pregnancy will have grown a bit and look
like husband's own. The husband will never know the conspiracy played on him thinking the pregnant is his own.

Now after her delivery, it's possible that by time time she may take in for her husband when they copulate again.

This is a human issue. Obviously the step mother in law is younger than the late real mother in law. She should never have been allowed to move in with a recently widowed man. Period. The kid should have been transferred to the father in law's house instead. The husband who can survive 7 months absence of his wife must have been a celibate priest in his former life. If he could survive without sex for 7 months, why would he sentence his wife to 7 months of no sex? Nonsense.
