I was on the phone for almost an hour receiving instructions on hour to prepare egusi soup. This is the result tastes great.

, so here's mine:

Last week Friday I saw one of the office cleaners cleaning some nice African snail at the office kitchenette, so I asked her how far. She told me she got it in the market for madam(a senior colleague). So I asked if she can do me same favour next week to which she answered in the affirmative.

Fast forward to yesterday she got me about 21 pieces of these nice African snails for 4k. Immediately I got hold of them I've been scheming and plotting how best to do justice to these beauties.

I got up around 8am today with joy in my heart and the snail in the fridge grin

. I boiled the snail for about 20 minutes having seasoned it with onions, salt and knor cubes. When it was cooked enough, I took it off fire, replaced it with a pot of oil on fire, added onios and when it was fried enough I added pepper and seasoning.

Having allowed the pepper to fry for a while, I added the snail and little of the water used in boiling it initially. Then I allowed it to cook for a while, added sliced onions and crayfish to taste ( I too like crayfish taste abeg).

When my pepper snail was cooked, I boiled rice to go with it.

And viola! I have my breakfast ready ; Rice and peppered snail to go with egg. I washed everything down with fresh yo! cool

PS: I only processed just 10 pieces of the snail. Still have the remaining 11 doing time in the fridge grin

Veggies (tomatoes, pepper, chilli, onions, leeks)
Spices (garlic powder, turmeric, paprika, ginger powder, black pepper, maggi, salt, chow mein seasoning)
Fish sauce
Oil

Precook the liver
Saute the veggies
Add the chopped liver
Add spices
Add a little water
Cook for 7 to 8 mins
