steady986:Kyrie Irvin, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosch, Kevin love, Anthony Davis and Rondo will all be HOF after all is said and done. So what is your point? |

donlittle25:Weird how a team with so many holes is capped out. Dame and CJ alone their cap outlay will keep Portland in middle team purgatory for the rest of their prime probably. Might be wrong but it's a strong possibility |

TalonVonner:And to think Ngannou beat this man twice. Do you think Bones can handle Curtis Blaydes? Makes sense to see why Jones doesn't want to move to the Heavies full time unless a title belt is on the line |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:14pm On Jan 26, 2020 |
A40:Since Stipe is fighting DC, Ngannou and Blaydes should run it back to see who gets a shot at the title after the trilogy. Jones vs Blaydes is a tricky one because we don't know what Bones will look like at HW. IMO it depends on how much he bulks when moving up. Even though Blaydes is one of the leaner heavyweights hes bigger than jones and is a ruthless wrestler so jones' elite wrestling and great takedown defense wont help him because size and strength may be too much of an issue. If they respect each others grappling enough it will play out a lot like colby vs kamaru. Curtis' wrestling makes people forget hes a deceptively good striker like he showed today. Jones is not an elite striker but hes creative and those kicks and spinning back elbows will be too much for most heavyweights to handle. So jones might have an edge standing. Theres a reason no one has been able to go on a long streak or defend the belt more than four times in that division. Theres too much power going around and all it takes is one shot. I think if DC wins the trilogy and retires Jones might be tempted to fight Ngannou or blaydes for the vacant title. Ngannou especially. I think the only way he moves to HW is if the money is right and the belt is involved based on what i've heard him and Abe kawa say. Speaking of the heavyweight division, i saw a few debates on this issue today. Who do you think is the HW GOAT? Fedor not included of course. |

Kobe was the first basketball player i knew. Memories of those days growing up with friends in the court and shouting his name whenever we made a bucket or did something cool. My love for the game of basketball started with him. Kobe Bean Bryant touched my life in a positive way. I will be eternally grateful for that. |
