@tony_runo the PVA usually takes between two to three weeks if I may ask when did you submite. When is your school resuming. Just make sure that the fund you need is still intact ALL IS WELL

I put in my visa app on monday and my school's resuming on the 14th of July. Hopefully, the visa should be ready then. Am actually coming for an advanced diploma program( abt 2 yrs). What program are you going for yourself? Undergraduate or postgraduate?

I wish to inquire if anybody on the forum who graduated from a nigerian university have had their skills assessed before.
ie sending your degree certificate and transcripts for assessment prior to filling in your state sponsorship request for either the 176 or 475 visa category.
how is the process like,i have been told that graduates from nigeria rarely do not get positive response from skills/education assessment body.
how true is it?
what and what do i need to do to ensure i am positively assessed.

i jst got a msg 4rm d case officer sayin i shld send my passport over :-) does dis mean wot i tink it means Marcar, any ideas? I also want 2 no wot parcel service u used? Cuz dhl no longer provides return courier services. Abeg Try reply asap. 10x man.

My bad. Dhl in oda states still provide return courier services. Its d office in benin city dat doesnt. Guess am gonna hv 2 send it 4rm lagos.

Whenever they ask you to send your passport to Pretoria it's usually for visa stamps. Atleast that's what I know

They should have sent you an email telling you that your visa application has gone into the next stage, or been approved , then they ask you in that same email to send your passport.

just to add that the VFS website for tracking could be shite sometimes,
heads up, if you have submitted your passport to them and you have been "dedicatedly" checking the site and by some design you are still getting a static message saying that "your application has been sent to the Australian High Commission" for more than 2weeks.just mail pretoria.nigeria@dfat.gov.au to find out whats going on, a certain Bianca might just provide a life-saver,

I don't understand all what u guys are saying about this method of application for Australia visa. The way I see all your comments, does it mean a tourist visa applicant will only submit documents without the international passport I mean do u mean the VFS only receives application and documents without passport?? until visa officer will email you to inform you to send them your passport through courier?? because I don't understand at all. Secondly, does Australia tourist require travel insurance?? I would be grateful if all my question could be answered diligently.
