Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.

The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

He did not flop at Udinese, he spent 3 years and played OK. They bought him for 2.5M euros and sold him for 6M euros to Sampdoria.

It was at Sampdoria (was there for a season) that he performed below expectation (did not flop) and he duly returned to SCP in Portugal for about 10M euros ans 10% sell on clause.

Performing below expectations is a fancy way of saying someone flopped.

What we need right now is a nuisance striker that is ready to go into battles/war with defenders, a clinical striker in the mold of prime Drogba, Diego Costa,Suarez etc. Not all these ajebutter #9 striker(Martial) that get easily bullied off the ball by even the slowest of defenders in the premier league. I hope the management team looks into that ASAP.

Martial should start fighting for a spot on the left hand side of attack, when the chips are down, he his nowhere to be found.
