A cheat is a cheat irrespective of who is caught in the act. Me personally I don't condone cheating. I detest it so much. Now whether or not a person wants to still put up with a cheat is entirely up to them. I know women who will walk out when they suspect you of cheating. Now those who put up with cheats are suffering from low self esteem and it doesn't mean they are strong regardless of gender. Between they two gender, none cheat less than each other. And what really is the major cause of cheating is "people not being ready for relationship and jumping into it without defining what they want". One thing is to define what you want, and another is finding out if your partner wants such. Cause you can't be looking for a sex mate and come in disguise of relationship. And you can't be looking for companion whilst your partner is after fling thing.

Women are humans I agree to that. Men also are humans too. Meet any girl on the street and she will tell you she has a boyfriend, look deep and you will see she has different men for different purposes in her life ranging from her secret admirer (whom she's very much aware of) to her bestie, from her material provider down to her sexual fantasy. Even the dude that will propose and she will say yes. Yet she has a boyfriend. When asked why all these you'd get the usual response "you can't put your egg in one basket", "what if he fails and dumps me?" meanwhile the same girl has made sure she's the only one in the guys life to the point where previous friends and even childhood female friends are being scared away by the boyfriend under the guise "do you love me?".

@op you point out the fact that y'all ladies are being emotionally traumatized by cheats yet you have the opportunity to leave but still chose to stay, it's your cross to carry and not to blamed on men.

You make your choice, you live with the consequences. No one forced anyone to remain in a toxic relationship. Don't come and blame men for your misdeeds!
