OP forgot the most important parts... pay 20k or so to different officers so you can collect your passport within 1 year.

Pay an immigration officer. Things rarely work around here, it's better you have someone to hold accountable than to waste your time and money online.

If you dare follow thisigns process that seems east, God knows you will spend 2 years while seems till the it.... Better waka go immigration office yourself meet a personnel of the service there with 40k at hand and have your passport within a day or max a month depending on the the location..... u will have problem when u travel abroad. Even muslims going for hajj with their husbands, they always question and delay them (in some cases send them back) if their surnames are different

It's easy to claim apply online apply online... My ppl if U reach there u will see d main application process jus like dis whole process didnt mention dat there are no booklets and U'll wait till booklets are available before u can b captured and pick up ur passport
It is not true. I registered myself online and did biometric same day ikoyi office (17th Jan), I got my passport the following week.
I didn't pay any officer.
And it is not just me, there's a thread for international passport here, many people who also did it by themselves got it in less than 2 weeks.

I applied in October 2019 for 30k and I got it first week of Nov,2019 in Osogbo!

Nope... you can only apply for lost with the newest passport number. They can get your lost passport number for you since you have all the information on the data page. You can pm me for further assistance

The problem is just that i dont think its the same number on the lost one and this very old one.

It was before the ecowas passports i did this one, so they gave me a new number.

Now, the issue is that i am concerned, what if i go to them and try to do a new one and they discover my records in their system?

Thats what am currently concerned about.

And i need to have a passport more than ever before


Can i apply for a new one?

If yes, wont they discover i had one before and feigned ignorance?

Thanks for making it clear i wont be able to renew the older one.

If you truly know you need an international passport urgently I will strongly advice you not to pay online, else you may not get it in 6months after registration.

Don't be deceived by the stipulated 28k Immigration officers will advise you better.

This is nigeria use your head.

I once made a passport renewal.

The renewed passport is now lost.

And i cant remember its number again so i can file lost affidavit and police report to obtain another one.

But i have the oldest one with me. Since like 2005 version.

My question is

Can i simply renew this 2005 passport instead of applying for a new one?
