Good evening everyone.

I am new on this thread and I am convinced I am in the right place. I read through previous posts and I am sure I am in the right place.

Pls house what and what can we do to improve our point? Thanks.

Welcome.

Age is a main factor so you can play around with the CRS calculator assuming an IELTs score of 8777; Then also depending on your NOCs, you can check against some of the provinces that pick directly from the pool like - Ontario, Alberta etc to see what your chances are.

These two can help you decide who has a better chance at being the PA.

Once you have your Ielts results you can decide if maximum points CLB10 will be best or if you need to consider French or PNP.

First things first though. All the best with your Ielts.

Someone told me in my office that someone with ND and HND does not count as having two or more certificate? Is that true.

2nd question.. my sister has an ND, and B.sc (she got the b.sc via direct entry using the ND). Does she count as having two or more certificate too?

Lastly, I read some pages back (I would have quoted it but can't remember where i stopped), thar customer service doesn't count as work experience.. (all my three years work experience has been in customer service). If this is not the case, what is the NOC for customer service..

Thank you so much as you answer my question..I'm forever grateful.

just search through nairaland. There are several people who used nd and hnd as 2 or more. yes customer service is NOC Skill level C which is not eligible for express entry. If you do not work in a bank chose am admin related noc but if banking. Nothing you can do

Good evening everyone.

I am new on this thread and I am convinced I am in the right place. I read through previous posts and I am sure I am in the right place.

I planning to write IELTS soon but I would love to know what to do to increase my point.
I have a Bachelor degree in Physics With Electronics and a Master degree in physics. The 2 degrees are from Nigeria. My wife has a Bachelor degree in English and a Post graduate Diploma in Mass Communication. We both are planning to write IELTS by April. I have more than 3 years experience and she has 2 yrs experience. No siblings in canada, no family memeber. Pls house what and what can we do to improve our point? Thanks.

Welcome.
1) evaluate only your masters degree with WES
2) your wife should evaluate both her degrees so as to give her 2 or more degrees which is higher than just bsc
3) both of you write IELTS and try your hardest to max out LRSW 8.5,8,8,7.5 to increase your chances cuz the regular 8,7,7,7 isn’t working this year try to max out in at least 2 subjects
4) Someone has to be the PA which would have been you since you have 3 years it helps to increase your scores also but if you are above 30 then you lose 5 points
5) however if your wife is below 30 she can be the PA and if her 2 years experience excludes NYSC she can add NYSC to make 3 years and viola!! you are ready.

if you are the PA with 8777 in ielts, your score is 461, with her as the PA, it will be 465.
i think she should be the PA.
and you guys should try getting better than 8777 in ielts

god this is so heartbreaking..

I have 2 year CS experience in an e-commerce organisation, then (currently) 1 year in a financial institution (not bank).

Maybe its time to consider PNP I've been dreading..

Seniors in the house, please I need a good french tutor who can coach a french beginner to acing the TEF/TCF exam.

Please note the following:
* Candidate has written IELTS and wants to take french to boost CRS score
* Candidate is a novice, so we got some work to do. wink
* Candidate works a 9am till "only God knows when to close for the day", and would therefore prefer if classes can be done using remote media (for the most part of the classes though)
* Your pay wont be a problem but please be sure it is friendly grin

@ BenNash,

1. Yes, that is the only Bsc I have, however as I have completed my ACCA in addition to having a masters degree the OBU degree is often overlooked in my credentials.

2. In terms of recognition, it is recognized and I am not aware of any shortcomings of the degree as per 1 above.

Hello I saw one of your posts and I really need to ask you some questions.

I saw you did the ACCA Oxford Brooke's degree. Is that the only BSC degree you have?

And is the degree really recognized? Have you noticed any discrimination at all with the degree?

I want my younger sis to take it. She had a shortback and I've been looking for options for her since last year.
