Are these the few lagosians affected by the ban ? Was expecting like 5 million protesters

"You do not build a megacity by hiding the poor". Well that's what happened in Delhi, India.

In a sane country, this is allowed to happen. Peacefully and responsibly, then actions can be taken to help the masses you govern.
Those write-ups on their placards are actually the true reflection of their feelings and experiences for this okada ban.

A waste of time and resources

I think at this point we all just have to move on in peace... No one seems tp be listening to the mases so for me, I have decided long time ago to do anything legit to leave the camp of the masses

Okada was not banned on streets but on some major highways and bridges.

Let the government know that popular sovereignty belongs to the people. Why should they make policies that are against the people that voted them in?

The publicity was extremely higher than the outcome. I doubt if the government can change this law

The placards are very apt. I repeat that even though the ban was in order it was too abrupt and without palliatives. The government should sift the affected okada and keke riders to confirm those indigenous to Lagos state and rehabilitate them. The protest is also in order. Citizens must have a way of expressing discontent else the society suffers for it!

I agree with fixed bad roads = Less traffic.

In all honesty, Lagos Police are not happy with this okada and Keke ban. No ask me why.

Honestly okada isn't supposed to operate on highways even Keke ... They can operate in streets , but not highways

You dey go far, UAE is an excellent example as well. But let them allow Opay and regulate until the road networks improve. It worked in Owerri because Udenwa, Rochas opened up New Owerri and created so many link roads that crippled anything holdup in that city.
