I grew up in Netherlands and have nothing but love for this country. This is one of the greatest civilizations ever built by visionary leaders. I feel sad anytime anytime I return to the homeland and see nothing has changed after each visit.
A country whose leaders since 1960 have turned it to corruption paradise for thieves to loot as they please and go scot-free.

The Dutch were in Nigeria in the 16th century I think, midwest region (not sure how, why or if they bypassed Lagos).

Wrong stereotype about the Dutch. They believe every individual deserves fundamental human rights whether you are black,gay or transgender. The majority of the population choose to get married and are in heterosexual relationships.

Netherlands was built on Christian principles, it is only a few decades ago Christianity started to decline. There are Churches littered everywhere.

The Dutch in South Africa where different from the ones in the homeland. The opened the way for blacks and asians in the colonies they owned such as Suriname,Aruba,Indonesia to be able to migrate to Netherlands. There are about 500 thousand blacks who were able to migrate to the country.
If they hated blacks they will not have let in that vast number from their colonies.
