Okay, but where? On the LW? We got Simon and Musa there. Kalu is off form for now.

Or abi na RW? Chukwueze is there.

Or na for CF? Don't even go there.... Lol

For SS or one of two CFs in a two man attack? Ofcos you have heard of Iheanacho's mad form this season.

So where do we need him? I don't mind his invite but he won't displace anyone.

Last I saw Musa was at Anthony Joshua's fight. Simon and Osimhen are doubtful as of now so I think he should be in the next list. It would be more of a reward but I don't see why he can't earn a place.

Remember we have to think of a January AFCON and some people might pull out.

Hahaha hahaha @onuachu
wink you got the gist. I think it's time we drop the notion of getting a lanky player that will fill in the shoe of The Great-Kanu Nwankwo. We have failed in all our quest to find a like for like replacement. Michael Uchebo, simmy Nwankwo and now Paul Onuachu have all been a failed experiment.

Lol... Seriously? Joshua's fight. Na wa oooo. Wait how come I missed that? grin

And yeah, now that you mention the injury worries we face now, then maybe Nwakaeme has a chance of being called up again. Just maybe. We also have a Dennis Bonaventure and an Iheanacho ready to step into the LW and CF roles easily not to mention a few others.... But...

Time will tell. wink

Onuachu is not SE material. When a player is off in a SE shirt, most fans sense it and such players never find their rhythm in the national team

I understand a bid from Athletico Madrid also came in last summer. Working under Klopp will help him reach the next level.

The Afcon will prevent Liverpool from going for other African players since main attack is already African

It makes no sense adding Chukwueze to Mane and Salah only to lose them for six weeks

What’s your point of not wanting him in the team ?
I don't see anything he has that shines asides his form.

AFCON 2021 Qualifiers: Rohr confident of key players’ availability

Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr has expressed confidence that the core of his players will be available for next month’s AFCON 2021 qualifiers despite injuries to key players over the weekend across different clubs in Europe, AOIFootball.com reports.

Speaking exclusively to AOIFootball.com, the Franco-German tactician who maintains a close eye on his players, revealed that he already spoke to the players in question and believes they will be ready for the Sierra Leone doubleheader.

“I’m very confident that our injured players will come back soon. There is only one big injury which is Uzoho because he is out for several months but the other ones like Osimhen will be okay very soon and is already better. Omeruo has only a knock on the head, Kalu whom I saw, is already nursing a comeback this weekend.

“For Moses Simon, we have to wait to know the extent and for Ndidi he is resting very well and will be fit very soon and then we have a little injury for Etebo but its not a big one and he couldn’t play over the weekend,” Rohr stated.

Rohr’s clarification will come as a massive boost for Eagles following injuries in Spain to Omeruo and Etebo whilst France-based duo of Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon had to be subbed after scoring for their sides.

Nigeria currently tops Group L of the 2021 AFCON table and will almost certainly land in Cameroon should they pick maximum points against Sierra Leone who are 3rd on the table with one solitary point.

Ndidi: My understanding of football is much better under Leicester City boss Rodgers

Wilfred Ndidi admitted he has a better understanding of the game under Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.

The defensive midfielder has made much progress since the arrival of the former Celtic and Liverpool boss, helping the Foxes win more possession with his timely tackles and interceptions while his passing accuracy has greatly improved.

The Nigeria international admitted the Northern Irish tactician has made much of an impact on his career than his previous managers and hopes to continue his development.

“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, what I know now, if I’d have known it when I was growing up, I’d have been a better player. I’m grateful to the manager for everything he’s installed in us,” he told Leicester Mercury.

“My understanding of the game is much better now. I see the game differently to what I used to. I learned from other managers as well so no disrespect to them, but this manager has made me understand more about the game, like the space available on the pitch.

“I feel like I’ve really improved since I first joined Leicester. [Rodgers has given me] the belief and understanding. That makes it easier when you find yourself in situations on the pitch.

“When I came to Leicester, I didn’t have much of the ball but now I find myself in situations where I have more time with the ball. That comes from the teaching and the understanding that the manager has given us.

“He’s made me understand the role I play and now it’s a case of developing from there.”

Ndidi is combining playing football with studying business and tourism management at De Montfort University.

“It’s going well. I did my practical essay recently so I’m just waiting,” he continued.

“I always wanted to study and now I can because I have more time after training. I just want to develop myself away from football. I usually have two lessons a week and I enjoy it.”

Ndidi has made 26 appearances across all competitions this season, helping the Foxes climb to third in the Premier League table.

The former Genk midfielder will hope to play a key role when Leicester square off against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their next league game on Friday.

Liverpool & Man City told Chukwueze asking price

Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea have been made aware that it will cost them around £60 million ($77m) to prise Samuel Chukwueze away from Villarreal.

That is the figure the Daily Mail are reporting that La Liga giants are looking for in any deal involving a prized asset.

The German giants are aware that they will face a fight to retain the services of a highly-rated England international winger in the summer transfer window.

Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis can further enhance his reputation in the Europa League later this month.

The Nigeria international, 22, and his Brugge teammates are to face Manchester United in the Europa League round of 32.

Dennis famously scored twice earlier this season as Brugge drew 2-2 at Real Madrid in their Champions League group game. Such a feat has brought him to the attention of clubs across Europe and he will have another chance to put himself in the shop window against United.

HLN says Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield United and Watford are all in contact with Brugge, as are Borussia Dortmund.

Brugge are insisting €25m to sell Dennis this summer.

yeah this is exactly what came to my mind when CAF announced another switch in dates for the competition.

However, if Klopp is really keen on him then the transfer could still materialize.

All things being equal it seems Chukwueze is destined to go to a top level club this summer.
