They are working so hard to gather points they'd consider enough to curry the Eastern votes in 2023.

But hey, I think I need to remind us that the Second Niger bridge was commissioned as Public Private Partnership Project.

What that means, as I remember president GEJ saying then, is that once the govt pays it's counterpart fund for the project, which Jonathan did, the project will go on irrespective of who is in power.

That's the truth they don't want us to remember.

Stop lying. The way I read some comments here make me to wonders if there are some APC/PDP benefactors here. Why must someone be saying what he doesn't know anything about?

SE vote is the most irrelevant vote in the country....FACT! Just look at 2015/ 2019, It didn’t help PDP and it did not stop APC. SS vote is more important than SE vote.....FACT! Since the alliance between SW and the North for the 1st time since independence, the SE has lost its relevance and role it played in political calculations. It is now what the SW used to be...isolated and irrelevant politically! The only relevance of the SE is as an ethnic group of noise makers to be given token appeasement.

This is such bullcrap. I passed this bridge from the Asaba axis last week and noted the lack of progress on this bridge. The few work going on was at the Asaba dinner city and only the ocean pillars have been installed across d water. They look old and unattended and no underwater or over water construction was ongoing

There is no way at this pace this project would even be 20% completed when these clowns leave power. This is just stupid propaganda and I would like anyone to bet me if this government would complete this before the 2023 elections

Shame

Shame on PDP! You can't successfully defend the indefensible.. They must be biting their fingers now. I imagine how they(PDP) will come and campaign in South East in 2023 when the bridge is completed. Because they've always used the bridge as a bargaining chip. Or is it the Enugu(Akanu Ibiam) Int'l Airport? Jokers!!!

he wasn’t the type to collect loans to sort this out... he hoped on internally generated cash. Tho the project would have taken a while but we would be debt free... pmb prefers the method of getting things done then sorting out loans on the long term. (Both methods have consequences tho)

Buhari is the game changer who will definitely end up being begged to continue as president after his second tenure. The man has continued to prove the book makers wrong that performance is not about making oratory speech, but being dedicated and focused in your deliverables as a leader.

Although the majority of the work on a bridge is under water, and thus may not be visible till late stages, FAshola at Federal level has exposed himself as all talk and overatted

Is the 2nd Niger bridge for Igbo's or for Nigerians? Note, this is not a bridge across Imo River or Anambra River. This is a bridge connecting the East to the West. So I ask again, is the bridge built only for Ndi Igbo?
