I do however agree that alot needs to be done with the way the are trained, especially when it comes to military/civil relations. I don't think much emphasis is placed on that while they are in the academy. Even recruits in Nigeria don't respect the Nigeria populace. The have this mentality of being better than any other person not wearing the camo

Beside the highest in class among them will be tamar two...you can't find a senior cadet displaying such act of ignorance. It's the usual Nigerian civilian mentality that once you are in the military all power belong to you...lol they will see the reality soon give them like 3 more years or let them resume back into the academy and you will realize how humble they can be. So those of you seizing this opportunity to say the Nigerian Armed forces run away from insurgents is a blatant lie. These ones you are seeing now their first test after graduation will be to launch them there @north east if some will even pass out or say the Armed forces have not totally eliminated insurgents from that region.

You claim some of those criticizing the actions of these junior cadets would do the same thing if they were in their shoes. You then have the nerve to say that it is the latent 'civilian' traits in these junior cadets that is responsible for their indiscipline - and once this civilian mentality is drilled out of them, they will stop behaving like toy soldiers and start behaving like the real deal.

The horse dung you are spouting isn't surprising. It is standard practice for Nigerian soldiers and their henchmen to blame civilians for the military's shortcomings. After all, former army chief Akinrinade claimed a couple of years ago that civilians were somehow responsible for the loss of Buhari's exam results - results that were submitted to the army board over half a century ago! Where the hell do civilians come into this matter?
