Nigeria should be ashamed. Las Las school na scam. Any computer science student that has not yet figured it out should go and write jamb again to study ZOOLOGY because we are in a ZOO.

By entering university in Nigeria, a youth is already outdated and has already failed. Books are written by people older than our fathers and the materials are not even practical or current at all.

Failure started here..

Before you people start insulting my school, this is actually Computer Science Education results not Computer Science department.

The MATH there is an 100 level course that the whole Science Education department students had issue with and that's why the results are actually like that.

Ahmadu Bello University is one of the prestigious schools in this country presently, and as a computer science student of this great school, I find this post misleading and the mods should probably do something about it because it's on front page already.

The lecturers are failures and should be sacked!

The lecturers are failure, they couldn't producing single 2.1 student. Meanwhile I don't blame them since their promotion doesn't depend on how they teach students but number of paper written.

Lack of motivation

It only shows the lecturer is a Terrible lecturer. A teacher in the UK made all his student achieve A in their GCSE.

I doubt if the useless result would be accepted by Senate.

This is not only failing students but failing lecturers as well. What is the point of educators if the people you're educating cannot grasp your concepts? You might as well be raising cows and selling suya on the streets. If such should happen abroad, the entire department would be queried for incompetence but in a zoo, even monkeys call themselves kings

To be sincere, an average core northerner is naturally slow. They rarely learn anything...not even how to pronounce words correctly.

An illiterate from southern Nigeria is by far more intelligent than an illiterate from the core north. I can never ask them an address if I am looking for one in Lagos, most especially their bike men.

Anyone who expects an average northerner to do well in Computer Science has himself to blame.

I am sure they gave most of them marks to even graduate with a third class.
