It was a mistake which i admitted already. Despite that, I expected a healthy discussion, but people thought otherwise. The basis of the whole thing is that Mi 10 is a dope phone but people here would rather buy it than spend extra on the s20 ultra.

Give the same people both phones to choose one for free and you already know which one they'll go for.

Now in all honesty, do you think Sammy will make an SD 660 device with a 48mp camera and sell it for 67k?

I like Samsung. When I was younger, my dad swore by Nokia, Motorola and Samsung. I used the old RAZR in 2007 and I used a Samsung sliding phone SGH-**** around 2008/9 before using a Nokia E5 in 2010. I can't really remember the model number. Looking back now, it must have cost him quite a good amount of money.

These are solid brands with good phones.

But as an individual, I want value. I want a community, acceptability. I stumbled upon this thread two years ago and it forced me to have a paradigm shift.

Most (not all) people who use Samsung, have no idea how a smartphone operates. It's just for the name. If I buy one and I have a problem for example, where will I get troubleshooting tips from? Does the company care about it's customers? Last year, Indians actually petitioned Xiaomi to reduce their prices and the company acknowledged them enough to release a press conference note.

If I'm using a 67k phone with GCam, and someone using a 100k+ phone is asking for GCam as well. How does that go?

Right now, it's these things that bring people to this thread. And it'll keep doing so.

I cannot condone the corporate greed of Apple and Samsung. I'm not loyal to any brand either. The day Xiaomi makes overpriced devices, I'll pack my Kaya and leave.

Mi 10 pro and S20 ultra are good phone at almost the same level. If any is better, I leave that decision to the individual to make. Me, I'll get an Mi 10 pro.

For me, Samsung mid range devices are just there. They made midrange devices and sell for not so midrange prices.

The Mi 10 pro and S20 Ultra are both amazing devices, but we just have to give it to Sammy jare. They finished work there. When i saw videos of both phones, the Sammy was just too sweet. They made a beast and I wonder what the Note 20 Plus or Ultra would be like.
My last sammy device was the S6 that year.
My backup phone is definitely going to be a Xiaomi and will be one of their top 2019 devices.
2020 lineups are just about cameras and refresh rates.

The day Xiaomi makes overpriced devices, I'll pack my Kaya and leave.
