I'm not surprised at this topic. People are intimidated by others who are as smart/smarter than they are. Insecure people (whether male/female) like those who are not as "smart" as they are so that they can manipulate/control them at will. Female smarty pants are intimidated by men who can hold a conversation on their own, cook for themselves, can do their own house chores and exposed. They feel that the man will not appreciate them. The same way men are very intimidated by smart women as they are seen as a threat to their ego and would not be "submissive".

Only people who have high standards and are confident in their own skin that are not intimidated by smart people.

A lot of people in this country are looking for who to control. People do not see relationships as partnerships in this country. They see it as "what can I get from you" type of relationships.
