Dey better start sharing that money to every Nigerian since there is BVN
Honestly, this is a much better alternative than handing that money to Buhari.

That is how bad they are.

Thought you said it's not a plea bargain. The Buhari govt is standing by that settlement to say it can't enter a case against a sitting governor who has gone to court to claim a part of money being repatriated as Abacha loot. If Trump calls Buhari lifeless and Nigeria a shithole now, zombies will start crying. By suing Nigeria to court, as Bagudu himself not committed treason and broken the terms of the settelement?

Go and read the link. Remove your head from Buhari's ass oh Nigerian youth!! Your future is on the table being fought for by the US while your APC governor and president are the wolves looking to devour
Baguda himself is a staunch buhari ally.

Those crooks are playing tennis with our common wealth behind closed doors.

The Buhari government EFCC is fighting curruption by chasing boys that beg white people small hundreds of dollar to pat their house rent, why over look the people that cause hunger to those boys, EFCC cannot go against Bagudu because is holy man, neither can they arrest AA oil for $500 million dollar oil scam because is holy man. they will only publish that they arrest 25 years old man that defraud$2,000 from Australia woman. how can $2,000 fraud cause problem to a nation where one politician steal $200,000,000 millions dollar and work freely. the worst is that the government has turn masses against our self that we leave to fight the politician and fighting our self's. they have make ours to believed that any well to do young man they arrested and is a fraudster. while the fraudster is the same government, 36 billion naira should have enter one person pucket and the goverment is seeking to borrow money from china

This is not Buhari fault,I almost insulted him until I read d write-up again,we have to blame obj,PDP,bagudu & abacha, pmb hands are tied by uk court agreement with obj/bagudu.dnt forget bagudu also settled obj.
So Buhari now respects court agreement?
When did that start? Because it involves a crooked ally of his.

The United States is saying they will not support handing over that money to baguda regardless of court order.
That is the supreme support and international cover that buhari will ever need if he actually wants to do what is right.

When I won’t blame Buhari entirely rather, Buhari played Bagudu. Buhari knows if the money is signed to be released to FG, America will oblige and once that happens, Bagudu will file a lawsuit against FG for the transfer of the money to him basing his arguments on the 2003 agreement reached with OBJ administration. So to avoid all that, FG told America that the money should released directly to Bagudu (knowing fully well that America won’t accept that), the result is what we are seeing now which is good for the country. Otherwise, what stops FG from getting the money directly and then transfer same to Bagudu, of course after some egunje must have exchanged hands?

Where did you read that Buhari asked that the money be transferred to Bagudu?
Let me break it down to you in tiny pieces.

The US and Jersey indicated to Nigeria that they want to repatriate 141m to us.
Meanwhile there's an agreement (plea bargain) between the US, Jersey, Nigeria and Bagudu and associates that Nigeria will collect 163m and not pursue any further repatriation from the assets traced to Bagudu and associates and in return, Bagudu will come to Nigeria and face trial.
Nigeria, mindful of the 2003 agreement in 2018, approach Bagudu to allow them receive the 141m euros and pay him 98m out of it like another form of settlement.

US gets wind of this arrangement and refuses, claiming that Nigeria should seek to prosecute Bagudu for being an accomplice in the Abacha loots instead of looking to share the returned money with him.
Nigeria refuses, claiming there is an agreement in place that forbids them from prosecuting him which is not entirely true. Hope you get it now.

I tire for emotional e-diot I share geographical space with, bagudu was a trusty in the cronies network, but he's greediness will get the better part of him soon enough, his saving grace however, is he is hiding under the guise of helping Nigeria but pursuing his own inordinate ambition and also he belongs to the ruling party, and the immunity he has a sitting governor means he won't be probed now

He should know power is transient

This is exactly captured in the article:

"Despite the forfeiture action being initiated following a Nigerian state request in 2012, Buhari’s government now says it can’t assist the U.S. because it’s bound by a settlement Bagudu reached with the administration of then-President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2003, according to the court filings."

Buhari’s government explicitly said that it can’t assist the US because of the agreement in reached with OBJ administration in 2003. This is given US hint of what’s on ground back home because definitely once the money comes, Bagudu will definitely file a legal suit against FG.

The 2003 agreement was reached in a UK court not Nigeria.

Besides what you wrote is what I told you exactly. The only difference is that while the US is asking Nigeria to make an official claim for the money thereby establishing it as looted funds and implicating Bagudu, Nigeria is claiming they can't do anything about it based on a 2003 agreement. Don't forget that even Bagudu has reneged on that agreement by not facing trial in Nigeria which was part of the initial agreement. Truth is the Nigerian govt is shielding Bagudu under a flimsy technicality. Malami and Bagudu are from the same state don't forget.

You are the dame with him. Keep insulting him so that you can justify Buhari! Jonathan instituted a case of forfeiture against this same Bagudu in 2012. Now Buhari is claiming he cannot renege on the agreement of 2003.

Court rulings can be challenged. If this government is sincere they can challenge that agreement. If they fail then we agree they failed, but at least they tried. Imagine handing over $100m to a criminal!

Exactly what the Buhari administration is trying to let US know that there was an agreement and looking at that agreement, OBJ administration violated and now he is a governor with impunity, that’s why the FG declined thus letting America put on hind the money for now. I wonder what is difficult there to understand?

Haha. So you think the US has time for your little games of immunity? I suggest you get serious. Once US lays embargo on that money, Nigeria might not be able to get it anymore. GEJ's govt in 2012 instituted proceedings against him. What has changed between 2012 and 2018 that they suddenly remember a certain 2003 agreement which he used then to escape jail. Ibori did something close to that and still ended up in jail.
Do you realize they wanted to share a part of the money with him? So if US had agreed to that and not ask for his prosecution, do you mean Buhari and co would not have collected the money and shared it with him? We need to get serious as a people except you're a beneficiary of this heist.

As a matter of fact, do you really think if OBJ was president and this happened, he would not remove him as governor either by hook or crook? Go ask Fayose and Alams how it went down
