Why do these people kill themselves when they face a little difficulty.? May her soul rest in peace. Such a pretty woman.

Am flying economy too but what I saw on my ticket is 50kg.

You are allowed two checked luggages so you can do 20KG for each checked Luggage

Then you’re allowed one carryon Luggage & a Backpack so you can do 10KG for your carryon Luggage.

My Backpack was never weighed.

hello madam stenon. I am a resident here in Scotland and have been trying to send you a personal message here to discuss an issue related to the teaching in Scotland. Can you please give me your personal email to contact you?
Hi bro, Goodmorning sir. Please I am sorry I missed your message. I am very careful about replying people pm nowadays based on my previous experience with some nairalanders.
I am always ready to reply all messages here and with the fact that it's a faceless forum so it makes it easier for you and I to relate.
I have always mentioned that with TRCN, you can proceed with the process to get the UK teaching licence but without that, I am 100% sure it cannot work.

Hello house, I'm considering applying for a UK visa. I wanted to apply for tier 2 but I'm confused as to how to get a CoS because I don't have any work experience. Just finished my nysc and I have nothing doing right now. What type of visa is best for someone like me?

Stop being confused and start looking for job in Nigeria then work to have some experience before thinking about tier 2 visa or any visa at all.

Hello Seniors in the house
please can someone enlighten me on buying house in UK.

I searched and I am seeing shared ownership, leasehold, retirement etc

I do not want to be in a mess and end up being in debt.

Thanks

Hey, this is a difficult question to ask but I'll try to give some help.

You can get a house with a mortgage and with help to buy with a deposit if 5% but this has to be a new property otherwise you'll need to provide from 10-25% depending on the terms.

When you're ready or almost ready with your deposit, approach the owner of the property you want. They'll direct you to a broker who will advise and connect you with a mortgage provider based on your circumstance - mostly credit score and how long you've been here and if course, your ability to pay based on your earnings. These guys don't charge you, they get their fees from the mortgage provider.

If you ask more direct question, I might be able to help.

This is not correct. British citizens have a different pathway for migration to Canada.

Erm...I won't exactly say British citizens have a different pathway for migration to Canada because the Express Entry pathway doesn't discriminate on the basis of nationality as I know of British citizens who have migrated to Canada through the Express Entry route. So, the category you referenced is actually a 'Working Holiday category' which is designed for British citizens who intend to travel in Canada and who wish to find temporary paid employment to help pay for their trip (up to 24 months)

The Working Holiday category is only for British citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 and they cannot be accompanied by dependants. The holiday category is therefore like an extended holiday work visa which definitely wouldn't fit every Briton's idea of how to migrate to Canada from the UK otherwise, Britons intending to migrate with dependants would have been unable to migrate to Canada.

While on the Work Holiday visa some may over time, try to switch their visa category but I reckon that those who qualify for the Express Entry would rather go directly through that route which is also faster and grants them immediate permanent residence more especially so, if they've got dependants they intend migrating with.

The link below explains further.

I believe British citizens are eligible for the working holiday visa for youths under the international experience Canada program. This visa is just a 24months temporary visa with age restriction (18 to 30 years). A British national would still need to apply for permanent residency via Express entry like everyone else if they desire to live permanently in Canada.

does this program grants permanent residence (ilr) immediately on arrival just like Canada or Australia or you first have to spend five years in the united kingdom before ilr?

"Access to income-related benefits will be the same for EU and non-EU citizens arriving after January 2021; it will only be permitted after indefinite leave to remain is granted, usually available after five years of continuous residence."

UK Proposed Point System from 1 January 2021
The government has set out a new Immigration Bill that will come into force on January 1 2021, marking the end of free movement.

Migrants will now have to gain 70 points to be eligible for a visa, in aims of creating a ‘high wage, high skill, high productivity economy’ in the UK, a statement said.

Hi All, I will really appreciate your response to my case below.

I came into the UK with my wife in August 2019, on a Tier 2 visa, my wife as my dependant. My wife is a medical doctor, and completed her PLAB 2 in November and got her GMC registration in December.

Since then, she has been unable to secure a job majorly due to restriction on areas she can apply to. We stay in Reading, so she only looks out for application within that area on the NHS site.

We have also explored Locum jobs and she has signed up with RM medics and undergoing registration with Holt doctors, but nothing yet.

I will appreciate any advice that can bolster her chance of getting a job or recommendation on any agency who can also help either with locum or full time.

Usually the first job is hard but once you have that and a couple of others then it start flowing... I would say for her first locum she needs to be willing to go any where even if it for one day or one week. A friend sent to Belfast for a month just to get that experience and she lives in London . I have others who went far. Once she has that experience even if for a month then you can be restricted in location. ID medical used to be good in locum, there are others out there as well

Have you tried asking the HR in the hospital where you work? It is not uncommon for couples to work in the same hospital.

Just say your wife needs a job and it's making you unsettled...new vacancies in the medical field should open in August so do ask them where you work
