I will advice u to stay back in Nigeria. Then start a meaningful business that would makes u to further ur education as well as travel round the world as u want.
So, if it's me, I'll used half to run a school business in a new promising area, use some part for buying and selling business(cus that would bring in at least daily incomes), then use the remaining for real estate business that I know could multiply in value by few years to come...

Thus, @ops if u don't mind and if u are sure that the money is legit,. Try to contact me basically for the school business....

You wanna use #20m to open school, do buying and selling business and also do real estate business...

The way you people think self. That 20m won’t be enough to open school and you don’t know how fast school biz fall.

Hello dear nairalanders.

Please I'm going through a state of mental confusion.

Currently i have approximately 20 million and 300 thousand naira in my bank account.

I have two thoughts.

1) I am 25 years old but I'm not a university graduate, i only have ND (National deploma) from a polytechnic In Edo state, Auchi precisely.

I would have become a graduate years ago but after my "ND" years ago, i refused to go back to school and i decided to hustle for money.

Most of my classmates in school back then are all graduates but all the same, looking at my bank account now, i have no regrets.

So this is what i plan on doing.

1) Can i further my Education In any university in the United States with the money and plan on staying back after my degree, for the fact that I'm 25.
Will that be advisable?

2) should i stay back in Nigeria and use part of the money to build a house In my hometown in Benin and use the rest for business?

3) Is there a chance of going to USA and start all over again, look for job.
Will the money be enough to rent a house, foot some bills untill i see a job in the USA.

Note i choose USA only because it's my dream country, I'm not scared of the traveling ban because I'm 100% confident that it will be taken away few months from now.

Please i won't be replying any mention or questions.

All i want is to take note of good advice.

I already know a reliable traveling agent.

Please other suggestions are welcomed apart from mine.

Please help

Broda mi,

Before starting a business in Nigeria, be mindful of the security challenges we are currently facing now, be mindful of government unstable policies that can affect some business. If na me, I will invest part in long term federal government bonds and hustle more and process Canadian Visa for the sake of my kids.
God that did it for you at this age will do mine.
Good luck bro.

In 2016 I had $5400 and #3M in Naija...i used part of the money to procure visa after many trials, fast forward I made it to canada, with no travelling experience, no one to help or advise.. thank God ....we are getting there slow and steady

If you are actually interested in travelling, US is good but look into Canada...with #20M, you can get a good not too expensive university in canada. Once you succeed, you can work Legally but limited hours as a student. If u can hustle, there are under the table jobs.
Why canada After completion of your studies, you can apply for job, move from working to applying for your PR and then citizenship on the later........
Canada is a very friendly country if you don't have problem with cold weather and trust me, you can achieve your intending plans of making a good home for your children unborn and your siblings.....
My candid advise is.....look into canada as your second option....

Coming here with your N20 million depends on your answer to this questions: Are you coming with an immigrant visa, Study Permit or Visitors visa? If it's immigrant visa, yes - you are good to go. Study Permit? Apply first, but I doubt you'll get it with only N20 million in your account, cause this cannot take care of your education and I doubt if the vo will issues you a study permit. If it's visitors visa, forget it my brother. No matter how much you bring here, without SSN or someone to help you, you'll struggle

Amazon alone as a quality writer can make u big. A full stack developer alone on fiver, upwork etc, you are in millions. Because millions is difficult for some, doesn't mean it is difficult for everyone.
there is no fight in this now let him tell us his type of hustle.you don't need to advocate for him.

The story is incomplete. if he had mentioned the type of hustle, then u will know maybe the he can invest more in it because of the prospect.but to be honest, any genuine hustle that can fetch you 20m then if u put in more effort then in few years time you can even live a better life in Nigeria have one or two houses outside the country and travel for vacation.

If I had 20 million right now, I'd stay in Nigeria. If I had 1 billion, I'd even stay more in Nigeria. The level of placement 20 mill will give you in 9ja can give you 100 mill in 2 years or less. Those of us in construction know this. So, personally, I'd stay.
If I don't even know what to do which 20 million, an easier way to double that is to just go to a big market in any part of the country and ... Anyway, no need to waste ideas. Make una dey move make more space d turn up. With the right capital, Nigeria's biggest assets is it's corrupt system and huge population. If you know, you know.

America might not be a promise land. Your success is in Nigeria. You made the money here in Nigeria. Don't ever think about where your mates are or what they are doing. Focus on your life.

My boss worth over 7 billion naira but started real estate business with just 10m 3 years ago. I know everything when it comes to real estate business/investment. We are in real estate driven economy. Investment in Real Estate wisely can make you a billionaire within a year. Think of what you are passionate about and invest in it. The level you are now, you don't need a certificate to work for anyone so your education can be pursued later. That's what I think!

How did your boss start real estate with 10m and worth 7bn now in 3 years?

Lie with sense please.

Or were you drunk?

lemme give it to you straight, no one cares what your dream country is as long as you are from Nigeria, to begin with Nigerians done cast most countries. Convert this your money to $ or € then u will see no be that big money outside, ie if nor be audio money be that. Baba that thing u they do wey give u 20mil it’s obvious say nor be legit na him make u wan clear not that I am judging you or whatever. I could care less, now you wan relocate, Listen find small country for Europe enter, I recommend Finland. You get your sanity and peace of mind intact. Make agents nor chop you, the fact we got a travel ban from USA is a bad sign already. E nor hard to get admission from smal countries in Europe u sabi press just google am. That 300k go get u admission and everything. Don’t start any business if you haven’t done business before. South Korea, is a good option buh visa fit hard you from naija. Lot of us here in SK usually enter japan to ship car parts, that business is cash and carry. Our market nor they touch ground na for container them done begin price our market lol. I do not advice you to go to China on a student visa, I swear you will be trapped, students aren’t allowed to work or anything strictly school and your attendance must be up to 70% years to get visa extension, trust me I know because I did my BA in China. Make your choice wisely. Peace and Stay safe

this is a good business but most people don't have knowledge of it....planting of cash crops like palm oil tree is a good idea.. most of them are not even up to 10yrs, with a single harvest, one could generate all the money one had invested.

I know someone in my area that have palm oil farm, he used to extract more than 1thousand of 25liters of palm oil every year.

there are a lots of things that could be generated from palm oil trees, such as palm kernel, oil, the kernel could also be converted into body and hair dream.. a lots more, this is d business I'll do if I have the money, may God help me.
