Some of us just turned 20. Is there anything you wish you knew when you were 20 that you know now and would like to share?

Kindly share your mistakes made, lessons learnt and practical approaches you've employed to fare nicely in adulthood.
My advice is that, get to know God more, he will direct your path. Good luck!

There is no definite path to greatness in life but try your best to gain admission into University but concentrate more on learning a skill than what you are being taught in school(when you grow up you will understand my submission better)

Make sure you have a child before 25
If you can't do baby-mama, please marry before 25. I know you think you are still very young but trust me, by the time you are 30 years old you won't regret it.

As at 20years old, my friends were getting thier girlfriends pregnant, I thought I was wiser and more sensible than they were by not getting a girl pregnant.
Now I know I was foolish.
I was discussing same with a friend lately. Having kids early is the best. Many of regret not doing so now.

You are a wise person, I never asked this question but here are some tips I can give.

1) If you are done with school, get your Masters's degree immediately, don't wait.
2) Be careful about women, focus on developing yourself. Try as much as possible to steer clear of breaking hearts, I mean it.
3) Save money!!!
4) Write your goals down, business goals, personal goals, spiritual goals, family goals, etc. Every successful person I have met has clearly written goals. google "vision board".
5) Determine what you want to do in life early. if its Human resources - do it, if its Business development - Focus on it. Get certifications in your chosen field.
6) Take life seriously, achieve things early.
7) Life has a spiritual aspect to it, there are generational flows so hold on to God. Take Jesus seriously.

I wish somebody would have told me, babe
Someday, these will be the good old days
All the love you won't forget
And all these reckless nights you won't regret
Someday soon, your whole life's gonna change
You'll miss the magic of these good old days

The next 10 years of your life are very very important. Don’t waste them on vices (women and alcohol/drugs) and if you had done all of that in your teens, well done, time to grow up. Start your career or business and build on it. Focus all your energy on making it work. In between you may be lucky to find love, IDK.

The best thing you can do for yourself now is to learn a skill, start now. Try and graduate with a second class upper or First Class in case u might want to further your studies with a scholarship.

Op

1) forget women
2) have fun. Things would sort themselves out
3) learn a practical skill and be the best at it. Money follows value.
4) Stay close to God. It's a cold world out there.
5) Your helper is not your brother or sister but the least person you expect
6) start a business early
7) try to discipline your mind and tongue

You'll get there because you've shown wisdom by asking this question.

1. Learn how to handle women, not how to sleep around
2. Learn how to make money with a digital skill, so you can make money while you sleep and not slave on a 5-9 job
3. Learn how to manage/invest money so you won't slip back to square zero
4. Exercise and stay healthy as you run away from addictions you won't be able to quit easily like smoking, excess TV/movies, drugs, gambling, gaming, or excess masturbation/porn
5. Help those you can help around you, but don't be forced into helping against your wish
6. Finally, be a man — a real man who makes his decision and not easily influenced by the society or peer-pressure

That's all for now and all the best.

Don't try alcohol, cigarretes, tramadol or any other form of highness. What is bothering me right now is not even the health implication but the amount of money you waste daily when you become addicted to those things just to feel 'alright'

I spent nothing less than 11k on booze from friday to sunday. Today is monday and I am left with just 2k. Funny thing is the circle keeps repeating itself.

SMH
Ha. Even me that spends 1 -2k on drinks in two weeks still dey think say dem curse me. So what you are trying to tell me is that am ok and fine, nothing is wrong with me.

In every thing you do, put God first.

Rich people become richer by spending like the poor while the poor gets poorer by spending like the rich.

Money is not the problem of man, the problem is how you can use it wisely.

When you find the one you want to marry, remember, don't for the sake of love tell your partner everything about your family because when things go south you will be at her mercy. At that time there is absolutely nothing you can do to un-say the things you've said.

In tough situations, man up, stand for your dignity, don't run from pain or else you will live a life of regret.

You can't please everyone, so don't even try.

Love your wife and children but don't spoil them. Correct when necessary, be harsh if the situation call for it. That's why you are the head.

When you fall, take responsibility. When you succeed, share the love.

Bros, I've been in the game for so long. I know what I'm talking about.
