yes the concept of nen is far more developed than chakra and I love how we the audience have to analyse every character's powers to tell what aspects of nen they're using...
But the powers in Naruto are still far more creative...look at the treeline of sharingan Finnegan, etc...the entire lineage etc...

I'll agree if you're talking about Naruto alone but where I get off the bus is if you include Shippuden. There's a whole ton of anime out there with better battles than Naruto Shippuden. Power levels kept fluctuating in Shippuden and don't get me started on the asspulls. People argue Naruto because they're casuals who only know Naruto as their main anime. Delve into anime proper and you won't even have time to talk about Naruto again.

Remember the anime Hunter X Hunter? It's a manga series and an anime in '90s which was reanimated in 2011 probably Top 3 best anime. Two of the main characters were Gon and Killua they've met in the first episode of the anime in a Hunter exam and eventually became best friends. They have different goals, Gon wanted to be a Hunter to find his dad and Killua came from a family of skilled assassin and joined just for fun. In their early stages Killua was stronger than Gon but along their adventures, Killua let and help Gon to improve and eventually even become stronger than him (debatable) without the feel of being jealous. Along their adventures they've met Kite, a friend of Gon's dad. Kite was eventually "killed" by Pitou right in the very eyes of Gon and Killua, it was one of my most traumatic scene in history of anime. In that moment Gon snapped and was about to fight Pitou too but Killua can keep his anger in check and maintain rationality better than Gon and knew Pitou was too much for them, he saved Gon by knocking him out, carried him and escaped because he knew Pitou can kill them both too right there. As a human we always need a Killua in our life, someone who will keep us in check from time to time. Someone who will remind us our goal and objective, someone who will bring us back to our path whenever we seem lost. There are times they will be a bit of controlling and prank but we need that to accept the truth. Someone who will be harsh and talk to us straight to the point to understand the situation better, someone who will "knock us out" to and wake up us to reality. Someone who will guide us to the right path and would be our brain and think logically whenever we are drowned by our emotions. Despite HxH doing some things better than Naruto... overall Naruto is better I think

I think HxH had way higher 'highs' and not as low 'lows' as Naruto. Naruto suffered from a lot of the issues that shounen anime usually have (bad pacing, ridiculous power scaling, asspulls, long boring fights, arc fatigue, not to mention terrible filler. HxH managed to avoid these pitfalls for the most part (except the greed island arc).

At the end of the day it's just a matter of opinion, we're all going to die one day so you're free to like what you like.

stopped at episode 16 waiting for the episodes to pile up so I can binge them, Babylonia is one of the best Arc's in the grand order games and cloverworks adapted it superbly, it's a hit.
