Dupamecano:World beaters whose hometowns and states are 90% poor and illiterate? I think we will pass. We don't need such 'world beaters'. TY Danjuma is as rich as Indimi, but I do not take pride in his wealth because we all know these people made their wealth through the nepotism and crooked structures of Nigeria. .... If Nigeria divides today, all these wealth will crumble and be destroyed within a short time. Your people are begging cos of their poverty and helplessness... You can only make their lives better by giving them education. Begging can never end in Hausaland without societal reforms. You think cos Ganduje bans them, then the case is settled? You are more foolish than I thought. It's like saying Yahoo should end in southern Nigeria when there are no commensurate jobs for the unemployed. |

Khaleell001:They are dominating because of their population. Make no mistake, there is nothing spectacular about the Hausa/Fulanis and their hold onto power. They are dominating because of two things, population and unity. Also, they made sure they unite their people through religion thereby making culture a second fiddle. In a democracy, the majority will always have their way. |

Nowenuse:LMAO! TY danjuma is a shameless thief, he didnt work for anything like indimi or mangal. And since when did taraba turn into el dorado? When does taraba even begin to compare with the worst north western state? Did i bring ganduje into this? why is this imbeci/le putting words into my mouth? we will deal with what plagues us how we please, we dont need advice from inferior beings no better than apes. Go and mind your business. |

Dupamecano:Without northern food, Southerners can import food from elsewhere at similar prices. Foreign imported rice is sometimes cheaper than the locally produced Nigerian rice in the south. So, we are not doing them any good as long as they pay for the food, unlike their oil money your state govt is using free of charge to build mosques, sponsor Hajj and mass marriages for poverty stricken people. The only farming the core-north outnumbers the Middlebelt is Beans, Onions & Tomatoes. The Middlebelt dominates Yams, Rice, Maize, Guinea corn, Millet, Oranges, Irish potatoes, Ginger, Vegetables (Cabbages, Lettuces, Carrots, Cucumbers, Spring onions, Cauliflower, Broccoli e t c).... Cotton, Groundnut & Sweet potatoes are 50/50. The core-north has 1 climate and vegetation... It can never be compared to the Middlebelt which has different climates and vegetations which support multiple and diverse crops. So the only Hausa woman you can boast with is a biracial woman who was brought up by a white mother? How about the one who was brought up a niqab wearing mother in Katsina? If Southerners list their biracial women and achievements, can you withstand it? Abeg go and sit down. Hausa women would have been more productive today without Danfodio, because they would have been like the progressive Yoruba muslims and not like Somalians and Yemenis. How can you be comparing Hausa women of today to those of the pre-colonial era without education? Can you see how you reason? |

Nowenuse:But yet Muslims have been ruling kaduna for ages Patrick Yakowa was a first and last mistake and he was terminated. I have so many Northern Christians friends but people like you are filled with hatred with this your comments I must say you guys deserve the marginnilaztion from El Rufai and his Muslim deputy... |

Dupamecano:And what is the population of the countries you are mentioning compared to that of Yemen, Syria & Iraq? Well, we can see that all the hope you or they have in this world is to wait for a change... A change without any steps being taken? Show me one step the Arab world is taking to ensure they ever get to the top of this world. Show me a great civilization today or at any point in time and I will show you concrete steps they were taking centuries before. I am in any thread where lies about the core-north which affects my own people is being told. Open a thread about the Hausa fulanis and their destruction or almajiranci in Zamfara and see if I will comment. |

LegendHero:For once I agreed with you on something and liked your post ![]() No ooo, Yoruba muslims can keep on waiting for the Sultan of Sokoto to sight the moon for them on their fasting. What a shame on about 20 million Yoruba muslims that a Fulani sultan is permanently and automatically their official leader. God forbid. |

Dupamecano:Before you come here and disgrace yourself... Google the population of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda and put it together and tell us how many that is, mugu. I am giving you official statistics of countries which speak Swahili (some as native speakers) and you are telling me rubbish? Songs, movies and novels sung and written in Swahili language have won Grammy awards and the biggest awards in the world. I am telling you that Swahili language is now used to teach advanced science in some countries and you are telling me about PHD in Hausa, something which Swahili has gotten many decades ago? Are you sure you have a functioning brain? Please don't drown me in your ignorance abeg. Only Kenya has a GDP equal or larger than the entire Northern Nigeria put together. Do you know Kenya is the largest and most progressive country in East Africa? With a $100 billion economy? Go and read a book and stop displaying shameless ignorance here disgracing your family. Your Kano that is surviving on oil allocation from the Niger Delta? Wait until the country divides and u become no different from Somalia |

Dupamecano:At least our own religion is of freewill and people can opt in and leave whenever they like... It is not chains & shackles of bondage like yours where you are told to kill your own blood sister if she leaves your religion (spits!) |

fk002:Ngazargamu was sacked. The capital of Borno was never conquered, but many areas that were previously under Borno like Yobe & Southern Borno axis came under the Fulanis. This is why Kanuris in Yobe, Jigawa & Bauchi are under fulani Emirates. |

Nowenuse:I’ve always adored your posts. Remember the first time we had an encounter. I told you about how I held you in high esteem coz you understood in-depth history of tribes in Nigeria and I’ve always loved the way you present your arguments. However, there are some things I noticed in you which made me took keen interest in trying to set some record straight with you. I understand you’re frustrated with the system, the fulanis have shown you guys a lot of the bad side which made you never wanted to be seen as their allies. Well, your grievances is justified. What I just don’t like is when you try to abuse the Yorubas or blame us for what even we don’t know about or what most times we are indifferent to. Check the Christian faith in Nigeria, Yorubas are not that much like the Igbos in Christianity, but we dominate the gospel in Nigeria. Check every top church in Nigeria and you will see it is the same Yorubas that are establishing mega churches and propagating the gospel of Christ. Adeboye, TB-Joshua, Kumuyu, Olukoya, to mention a few. These guys have been the frontier of Christianity and their establishments have given the Christians in Nigeria a sense of superiority. These guys are supportive of your people (middle belt) during their trying days. We Yorubas constitute the highest number of human right activists in Nigeria sometimes even going above their means to voice out their concern when things are going wrong. Yet, you have labeled us as being supportive of the Fulanis ethnic cleansing in the middle belt which was why I had to respond in that manner to you. Lastly about the Yoruba Muslim looking up to the sultanate, there is nothing wrong in having a body as a religious leader. Even the Catholics in Nigeria look up to the pope. However the main argument is that, the sultan and what he represents have always been a dent on Islam with their own barbaric type of religion that doesn’t give room for change. They have been a curse to Islam in Nigeria rather than blessing coz what is there to be proud of when we wake up everyday to witness the atrocities of the herdsmen, Boko-Haram, Almajiri, purposely induced illiteracy, etc being churned out from the North. Tell me what is there to be proud of about the religion which the Hausa/Fulani are destroying through their rigid ideology. |

fk002:Same way you have been dominating Nigerian politics but the Igbos are x10 more progressive than you. Continue dominating Kaduna state and Nigerian politics while it lasts, cos the end is coming very soon. |

Blue3k2:This is what modern day Hausa women have been reduced to even with all the colonialism and education that came with it... Something that was not remotely available during Queen Amina's time. Do u have a working brain? I ask again. Was Queen Amina dressed like this when she lead a Hausa country? ![]()

Nowenuse:You guys are just like bats you are neither here nor there. The igbos look down on you they see you as abokis no matter how you try to explain to them they will still call you aboki you will never change that perception In the North, the Northerners don't recognise you as northerners because of your double edge nature. That's why you guys will never be allowed to lead the nation. You and your people are just bunches of confusionist |
| Re: Usman Dan Fodio: Founder Of The Sokoto Caliphate by fk002: 1:04am On Feb 28, 2020 |
Nowenuse:Lol do your research again, southern Borno has never been conquered the Babur, chibok, Marghi, Terawa, have maintained their culture for ages. That's why King in Biu is called "Kuthi" instead of Lamido, same goes to part of yobe |

LegendHero:This is what TY Danjuma inferred when in Ibadan he blurted out that in the middle of the insecurity Yoruba has lost its voice. We are known as the public defender and the human rights advocate. Tai Solarin Gani Fawehinmi Fela Kuti Beko Kuti Their mother, Mrs Kuti. Gani Fawehinmi Femi Falana List goes on.... |

fk002:That power belongs with Southerners. I have been raising hell here in Nairaland over many months and on different threads and highlighting the need to pick candidates in NC to fill Northern spots in political arrangements. If a Southerner will be President we will pick a NC candidate...and precisely one with tribal tribe, not someone like Saraki, IBB and many others who are confused about their identity. We will put fulani North on a 100yr political fallow. |

fk002:I didn't say civil war! Way before the civil war, there was the Nzeogwu coup, and you know the immediate repercussions of that based on class punishment of the Igbos in general. Why there has not been a similar retribution against the Fulani, I don't know, but time will tell. If you don't know, please read it up. |

Nowenuse:LOL Reforms are being made in every single arab country including KSA which is trying to open up a bit more to the modern world and diversify their economy, investing billions into tech and creating more friendly policies. Besides, just because steps arent being made today doesnt mean they are being made tomorrow, some ethnicities are just too great not to thrive and some are just too irrelevant to be meaningful. So tales of fodios conquest in hausaland which spoke nothing of the middle belt affects your people? LMAO! You are a shameless clown, you involve yourself in every single thread that talks about hausas or fulanis in any way. You are obsessed with us because your people will never even come close to the relevance we achieved and the relevance we will soon achieve. You lot are a bunch of nobodies forever to remain in our shadow as second class citizens. |
