Nowenuse: LMAO You said fulas practice their culture but hausas dont which is a bold face lie! Both ends of the extreme (nomadic fulanis and maguzawa) practice the old cultures. A northwestern classic hausa man today will relate easier to a northwestern fulani man in any city and vice versa. Maguzawas and herdsmen will find it very difficult to farternize with the north western man. The hausa - fulani tag though not an ethnicity on its own is an amalgamation of two concepts that any group which finds itself outside of the spectrum will find very hard to identify with. The urban hausas and fulanis have created a culture that transcends their ordinary selves. |

Nowenuse:We didnt bring any of that on you, you brought it on yourselves. What did you lot achieve before the brits? you lot were savages running around in your birthday suits. We tried to give you everything, even executed a coup and gave one of you the keys. How did you repay us? by stabbing us in the back like the barbarians you are. Catching up with the deluded plonkers in the south is something to brag about? LOL! They are nothing but educated illiterates and they like you will remain in our shadows for as long as we please because you are inferior to us, all of you. You always will be. 1 Like |

Nowenuse: I dont understand how you guys be so dense. Culture is how a set of people express themselves. It doesn't matter where the hijab originated. It would be like claiming tea drinking isnt part of British culture because it came from China. Jiu Jitsu is not Brazilian cultural because the practice is asian in origin aswell. 2 Likes |

Dupamecano: So a handful of millionaires and billionaires amongst 90% of poverty stricken and illiterate people is prosperity? Are you sure you don't need to have your head checked? That is the highest form of slavery of the masses to an elite few. The most spoken indigenous African language is SWAHILI. It has official status in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Comoros, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo e.t.c Where is Hausa regarded as an official language? Besides, how does a large population of poor illiterates portends any good? There are hundreds of millions of Arabs in the world, but there are only several million Jews, yet the Arabs are inferior to the Jews who control the world. Holy union of poverty, illiteracy, terrorism and backwardness. 8 Likes |

Nowenuse: The story of inequality is uniformly the story of the country. Those two hausa men are richer than most ethnic groups combined. LIES Hausa is the MOST SPOKEN indigenous african language, do your research. According to the spectator index hausa has 150 million speakers to swahilis 107 which given the demographic of hausa first and second language speakers sounds very accurate. Stop moving the goal post, you claim we've lost our identity when on the contrary, we're the ones gulping up the identity of other ethnicities. A century of woes doesnt define us, we are blessed by God and we will rise again. 1 Like |

Dupamecano: Have you ever seen where a slave lives a better and is more progressive life than his master? Have you ever seen where a master does manicure (Parchen Kafa) for his slave? See mugu. If our people bear Hausa names, there is no shame in it because Hausa is a Chadic language (indigenous African language). Many middlebelt tribes are also of Chadic origins and speak Chadic languages (related to Hausa)... It is far better we answer Chadic names than English names. Besides, Hausa names have died among our people. People don't give it to their children anymore... Show me one person from my region who is a youth and has a Hausa first name. 4 Likes |

Khaleell001: Colonialism brought about education and enlightenment and enlightenment brought about a more civilized behavior. Missionaries who would have come before colonialism would clearly have been killed or eaten. Also, colonialism brought about roads to the hinterlands which the missionaries could not be able to navigate before that time. Why was christianity in parts of the coastal South before colonialism? |

Nowenuse: More prosperous than hausas? LMAO! Dude, all our house helps are one of you. Your ethnicities are synonymous with suffering and misery in the north. No one even knows who most of you are. more prosperous than us? I laugh in mandarin! But arabic like hausa is an afro asiatic language yet you still tried to shame hausas for using arabic names. See your hypocrisy? Its not just that you people steal hausa names, its that you steal the funny ones. Imagine someone being called "kashe aure" "wahala" "bawa" and co LMAO Dont worry about us, worry about your irrelevant people. 1 Like |

Nowenuse: You shamelessly claimed he was a power monger who ran mad but he deliberately abdicated his throne to focus on being a scholar. Say what you want about him, his revolution was more than religious, it was a political movement that fought against injustice and the states were better off because of it akin to the french revolution. 1 Like |

myobjective:Couldn't agree more. You're on point. However I was referring to the saintly figure the OP tried to present that harbinger of terrorism as, knowing many ignorants are all over nairaland waiting to eat his lies. And yes he did try to paint him in positive by presenting him as pious warrior on a just cause cleverly leaving out his evil atrocities, comparing him with the Genghis Khan whose history can never be talked about about in warfare or achievement without not mentioning his many evil deeds. 2 Likes |

Blue3k2: Yes, Hausa land has been illiterate and brainwashed by religion for centuries, the same way Black Sudanese people of Nubian ancestry claim they are Arabs today Yes, someone is stopping the Hausa masses from gaining literacy and that is the minority % fulani mixed elite and religious class who control their society... Why don't you tell us the correct stuff since you know it more .... Nairaland is available for the whole world to read and learn. |

Dupamecano: A caged emir! Everytime Yoruba leaders rise from meeting in Ibadan he is apprehensive. O to Ge got him jittery. He started wondering if O to Ge was a sack notice. If it was not for military he would have been sacked long ago. Did you not hear when OPC took trip to go topple him? Military posted everywhere. They turned OPC back at border. We no longer under military rule. That caged emir is coming out. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nowenuse: Lol you're mentally challenged dude. Nobody is stopping them but you're free to believe your dumb victim narrative. Thats what losers in your culture do when they can't effect change. Everthing is someone elses fault. They're happily married fulanis. They've never expelled them out of the country. They voted in mass for a fulani president twice. The still have fulani traditional leaders. In your mind it because brain washing instead of them just agreeing with eachother. If you want to learn pick up a history book. It's probably available at local library or university's library. 1 Like 1 Share |
