i blame the chinese govt for this and feel they are both selfish and irresponsible.
Yes we know about screening of passengers entering their countries, but why didn't the chinese govt screen passengers LEAVING their country and quarantine the infected. which would have been a better way to control the spread of the virus. but no, and now 52 other countries are infected with this.

This nation is just too careless for my liking... After the Ebola debacle, I thought we had learnt our hard lessons with regards to disease prevention...

There were warnings and enough counsels to all nations ahead of time... We are talking over 1 month of warnings, yet our health ministry still chose to be stupid. Smh.

Inter's Europa game was played behind close doors, after postponing their previous one, just to put a lid on the viral issue... What proactive steps have we taken??!... I can bet you most of us are merely praying that the Italian kept solely to himself since the 25th... I pity una.

The man has been in Nigeria, since 25th of this month, and was tested 2 days later, only God knows how many people he has made contact with and those that made contact with those that made contact with him. The list would be endless with our overpopulated environment like the brt, church, mosque,etc.
I believe our government is to be blame for any death of his citizens because of the poor screening exercise in our international airport. Common sense should have told them that citizens from china, italy, south korean,(or better still any country with the case of it) should be quarantine for some while before releasing them to the public but foreigners are first class citizens and nigerians are second class citizens and so must not be subjected at first to this.
God help us, the best for now is to wear mask or better still stay indoors if you don't have anything serious doing and I hope our government don't politicize this by downplaying numbers to look good because that was the main cause of the outbreak in china.

What is the name of this "Italian" that brought in the virus? When the case of Ebola virus was confirmed in Nigeria, we were told the name of the man( Patrick sawyer). It's weird that this covid-19 importer does not have a name undecided or is it audio confirmation bcz this regime is capable of anything.
