The part in bold may not be correct. We must stop believing everything that happens is a conspiracy against us. The virus has done more damage in Asia and Europe. It’s preposterious to think someone will deliberately get infected just so as to be able to spread it in Nigeria.

I have spent time in the west, when Oyinbo speak of population control they always start to talk of Africa..

Even Bernie Sanders was talking about population control in Africa. So the idea that Oyinbo may want to see our demise isnt far fetched...

This guy knew he had this disease and purposely came to Nigeria to spread it, but God pass am. Everywhere you go on social media, there was an outrage in why the disease was not yet in Africa, as if we offended them in a previous life.

These other nations want the virus to do maximum damage on the continent.

wasn't he in an airplane? sitting with other people? why is no one talking about this like he vanish reach airport? he spent atleast 3hrs in company of others in an enclosed environment so this whole thing is even worse than it is.

did he not go through the airport in what ever courtry he's coming from? unless they intentionally wanted to send someone down to Africa to spread this shii

D guy might not have known but d govt failed and d minister is just giving flimsy excuses. D normal protocol is to immediately quarantine anyone coming from a country with d disease for a period of at least 14days during which d symptoms will appear if d person is infected. If d Italian was in quarantine upon getting to Nigeria, there will be no need for all this grammar

Can you hear yourself?
Are you telling us if it's happens to 1000 people who are still in the incubation period, all of them will easily come into the country without any means of detecting it?
Always give excuses for your failures....shameless government.
Why can't you stop the people coming from the affected countries into Nigeria?just the way Saudi Arabia did?

because those idiotic ugandans think even the most foolish white is intelligent and their savior. the white woman never had any medical qualification !!!

Zooposki:

You did not watch the videos of the Chinese deliberately spitting and coughing on people, elevators, door knobs, tissues, packaged goods etc to purposely infect others?

Seems you have not dealt with white supremacy. The whites that were sterilizating Kenya women, purposely injecting South Africans with vaccines filled with HIV virus, and the white lady that pretended to be a doctor and killed 200 Uganda children came from space, right? Likewise those that went to Northern Nigeria and used the children as testing subjects for their new drugs came from Mars, right?

If it can sneak into America, Europe, south Korea and Japan. It can definitely. Sneak into Nigeria. meanwhile some vital information.
What is the incubation period for the coronavirus?
An incubation period is the time between catching an illness and showing symptoms of the illness. Current estimates suggest that symptoms of COVID-19 usually appear within around five days or less in most cases, but the range could be between one and 14 days.

What are the symptoms of the new coronavirus?
Fever, dry cough, trouble breathing, and sometimes pneumonia are the common symptoms of COVID-19. There have been some reports of gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea) before respiratory symptoms occur, but this is largely a respiratory virus.

Those who have the virus may have no obvious symptoms (be asymptomatic) or symptoms ranging from mild to severe. In some cases, the virus is life-threatening or fatal.

Currently, it seems that most people who get sick will recover from COVID-19. Recovery time varies and, for people who are not severely ill, may be similar to the aftermath of a flulike illness. People with mild symptoms may recover within a few days. People who have pneumonia may take longer to recover (days to weeks). In cases of severe, life-threatening illness, it may take months for a person to recover, or the person may die. https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/as-coronavirus-spreads-many-questions-and-some-answers-2020022719004

True... A person with a very strong and fortified immunity stands a strong chance of surviving and recovering from the virus.

Haba there is no indication he knew he had the disease. As the minister said it was not picked up because it was in incubation stage so how will the guy have known?

Please share where you are seeing outrage that the disease is not in Africa??

I wonder how we shall escape this as a people. our government had ample time to be proactively prepared for this convid 19, but they refused to prepare. This is the worst government I have ever witnessed in Nigeria

Don't mind the useless lot. Instead of getting the guy quarantined he was allowed to walk majestically into Nigeria because na oyibo. Nonsense.
ValCon888:

What the government should have done is to put people coming from high risk countries like South Korea, Iran, and Italy under automatic quarantine.

The Coronavirus is a virus that can spread even during the incubation period. This means, a person may not show symptoms but can still spread the disease.

Incompetence will not kill us in this country.
