Unpopular opinion

Iheanacho plays better with Perez than Vardy

Johnny Edward

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has received an offer for his contract renewal from the Nigerian Football Federation, Sports Extra has exclusively gathered.

Rohr whose current deal lapses in June has been ‘offered a two-year deal’ to remain as the gaffer of the three-time African champions.

Sports Extra gathered that the German was offered a reduced monthly salary and bonuses to remain in charge of the Eagles.

Rohr is really enjoying his time with the SE. He has never had it this good with any African team like he is doing now. He has a generation of stars in reckless abundance from which he can pick from. No coach will want to miss this juicy array of young Nigerian stars. I am so happy that he chose to continue. I believe himself and the NFF came to a compromise for him to stay on for another 2 years. I love his intentions to lure young Nigerian players in the diaspora to play for Nigeria and his stance on the age limit for the SE. I hope he also looks into our league to refurbish it.

How can something expected to be accurate as VAR be so controversial in today's Nacho disallowed goal so unbelievable

For me, it is a wonder how Leicester manages to win with their style of play

Iheanacho don enter this one chance! na to see him contract thru na im remain now. Worst mistake of his football life

Martial is injured so Ighalo might just get another start against the team he scored his first premier league goal against.

I hope iheanacho continues developing his tactical understanding of the game. His movement for the goal that was cancelled was totally brilliant. His long range shooting shows his is also working with spaces to use his shooting ability.

Another nice movement was one Ayoze Perez missed. Returning the ball to Nacho in space was a better option.

Ozil Ceballos, Xhaka in the middle and they couldn't crack the midfield. Xhaka and his static role is annoying. Barely moves 5yards at a run. Iwobi might have made a difference considering most of these guys were fatigued. Wonder how that ball passed Luiz with 90s left!!
Lacazette will be the death of Arsenal. When I said Auba was better than that guy, someone here said I was wrong.
Dude is worse than Giroud. Arteta should've subbed him around 70th minute.

I think we knew he had the finishing techniques on a mad level. However, his tactical movement and clever use of Space gives me the feel I enjoy from Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison. I find it so thrilling. From the nod which led to a clash against Ederson and the movement in this last game shows we have exciting times ahead for Nacho.

Yes indeed. He is beginning to mature fast into that "Raumdeuter" class player we tagged him with while he was still coming up at Man City. He is attacking and "investigating" spaces so effortlessly now. He just keeps getting better.

But.... I need to flog your man, Ederson. He wan kill our boy?? grin

You are going to rely on past glories? Martinelli did better in 10 minutes than Lacazette did all match for Arsenal

And going by records Martinelli averages a goal or assist every 53 minutes, so yeah Martinelli is better
