BascoVanVeli:Akpeyi has never been good in his life whenever he wears the GwG jersey. Seriously I think in the last decade or more Akpeyi has been the worst goalkeeper ever to grace the Nigeria football team, from u17 to SE and from the flamingoes to the female senior team. Sorry I forget, that award should be shared between Akpeyi and chigozie Agbim whom I think is the worst goalkeeper ever to grace football worldwide |

@Elyte89, I saw your mention as regards Safarigirl's comment on Black Man's immunity and you wanted me to waive into it... Lol. Well, I had to finish following some games first before I talk. And Abeg, I no wan turn thread into medical class. I think we don talk medical matters Wella already but I can briefly say this. Safari's point is not superstitious at all because even scientifically, it is actually correct. The immune system of the black man is actually built to be more resistant and more capable of fighting off diseases compared to the immune system of the White man. In fact one super reason for this is the presence of Melanin in the black man (present in abundance in Black Africans and Indians). Melanin has melanocytes that contribute immensely to the Immune system and makes the it even better equipped to battle pathogens unlike the white man's immune system that do not enjoy the presence of melanocytes. So without further Ado and much talk, Safarigirl is actually on point and she has been on point all day that I just wanna kiss her right now. What a darling she is. **Eheemm... No let your head big oooo** Ehen... Elyte how far naa.. our boy Haaland no score today ooo. Honestly, I for knock those frieburg lads. See dem heads. Perhaps he dey preserve am for PSG. Meanwhile, even Dessers no score. They play 0-0. More Naija Battles tomorrow. Happy New Month. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool Linked Striker Osimhen Makes Big Statement About His Lille Future Victor Osimhen is on the same page as Lille President Gérard Lopez after admitting that he would like to remain at the French Ligue 1 club beyond the end of the 2019-2020 season. Signed from Sporting Charleroi in August 2019, the young Nigeria international has flourished in France, scoring 18 goals in 36 games in all tournaments. His performances have attracted the interest of more glamorous teams in Europe, with the likes of Spanish trio Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla plus Premier League clubs Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on the striker with a view to a move. In an interview with Radio Monte Carlo published by Foot Mercato, Osimhen was asked to comment on his future and he said : "Yes, I saw a lot of people alerting me on social media and I am really happy with it. "Thank you to the coach and thank you to the club especially for giving me the opportunity to be able to do what I am doing today. But I would like to go even further and score more goals for my team. "I would love to stay in Lille but you never know what can happen. I owe a lot to this club, and I will go where the leaders want." Osimhen added that the leadership of Lille told him from the word go that they wanted to keep him at the club for more than one season, an agreement he intends to honor unless there is a big offer too good to refuse. "When I signed my contract, the managers made me understand that they wanted me to stay for a while. "Personally, I love life here, people are nice. The club facilities are incredible. Lille is a big club in France and of course I want to stay. "Gérard Lopez is the boss so as I said, if he wants me to stay I will. But if it was up to me, of course I would stay." Osimhen has contractual obligations with Lille until the end of the 2023-2024 season and is valued in the region of 30 million euros by transfer market experts. **Igho Kingsley Source: ANS 1 Like 1 Share

Arsenal was lucky that year (2004). Yakubu should have scored that one -one chance he had against (Lehman)arsenal a few minutes to the end of the match. I was at the Unilorin SUB then! We Man united fans were so annoyed with the YAK then! lol! Arsenal was not spectacular, too many draws and near losses. Icon4s: 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: The bolded is actually wrong. Whites are pigmented(have melanins) but not in abundance as blacks. And melanin do not have melanocytes, u could say melanosomes, because melanocytes are rather sites for melanin production just as oocytes are to eggs and spermatocytes are to sperm cells. If the whites lack melanocytes like u said, how then do they get melanins since the pigment is formed in the melanocytes? The only people without the pigment are albinos and victims of vitiligos(precisely on the white patches) About melanins being an antimicrobials, that's debatable, I know melanin has many functions, while the major function in man is its photoprotective role which helps us against sun burns. For instance, using a biological or spectroscopic method, it was found that on the average, five times as much ultraviolet light (UVB and UVA) reaches the upper dermis of Caucasians as reaches that of blacks, and the the main site of UV filtration in Caucasians is the stratum corneum, whereas in blacks it is the malpighian layers. That said, I know melanin plays a major role in the innate immune system of insects, which synthesize the polymer to damage and entomb microbial intruders, could u please school me on its antimicrobials role in humans? I'm willing to learn 1 Like |

Is it as relating the insecurity issues if a retired General and a former Defense minister cannot contain the boko haram scourge and fulani herdsmen activities what else do you want me to believe Or is the free and fair election it invokes you want me to believe...election in my state is few months time unlike the time of Jonathan everyone knows that governorship election gonna be bloody like in Kogi under the watch of a man who benefited from a free and fair election in 2015 Please tell me something else to believe about a government that believes in lies and propaganda Please just pray and ask God to help out If China who were able to build a 1000 bed space hospital within the space of 10 days could still be facing challenges containing the virus here even after many talks and all Lagos which I believe is the best run state in Nigeria had only a 100 bed space capacity prepared and a room the Italian was placed according to Punch Newspaper had mosquitoes infested etal that tells you we just need God intervention because this government cluelessness speaks volume |

But there is actually nothing wrong in what I said. You should have read between the lines and understood the focus of the context. I never said Whites lack Melanin totally. Perhaps it is the comment on the melanocytes part that makes you misunderstand my context. I was trying to be brief and only trying to drop an elementary explanation based on abundance and significant presence of Melanin and not little or negligible presence of it. I didn't want to be too detailed. I said the "abundant presence" in blacks is key and thus the presence of Melanocytes is more profound in the immune system of the blacks compared to the Caucasians and co. This is one of the major reasons the immune system of the blacks stand a better chance against rogue diseases than the immune system of the whites. Ofcos the whites have Melanin but it is so very little and thus tagged somewhat insignificant. And like I said earlier in that post, I do not wish to make this thread a medical class all of a sudden so I cannot (and will not) oblige your request for more expatiation connecting Melanin and Insects. Kalu is back from injury and featured in Bordeaux's last game. He has been immense for the national team in very recent times so his invite will be 100% justified. As for Musa, well the only thing here is that he is the Captain of the team. Ejuke's time will come but not this march perhaps. ChrisKels: 1 Like |

@bolded... Sorry dude, that title belongs to Christy Bulus of the Nigerian U-20 Falconets team of 2006. Same tournament that saw Tochukwu Oluehi make her breakthrough. Bulus is possibly the worst goalie of all time for both men's and women's football. She was so freaking atrocious. Arabiandude: 1 Like |
