Do not sell now unless you are in dire need of the funds. I hope you have done the necessary documentation to have the shares in your name

The bids in fcmb were actually in anticipation of good result, it was Covid19 that spoilt the show.

Remember onifa said the market may reverse this week as oil price is expected to go up but all na fake ni.

he said we never even see oso Abiola. That means there is still something worse than the virus we never see.

Zenith will soon be punished. once the qualification date is passed, the punishment will begin. so those buying now for dividend might buy at a loss.

I really don't see what is ravaging about Covid19, with just about 2% mortality rate. It is not a death warrant for crying out loud. It's the media blowing it out of proportion.

Posted a report from a renowned source here on the 28th of November which predicted that the stock market will lose over 2000 points this year. So caveat emptor, let the buyer beware

Ok. It depends on you.
You may sell now and keep the cash so as to buy bargain in market for profit
OR
Leave it for market to go up again.

I would go with the first option if I were the one.....but since I don't know the cost price per share, it will be somehow difficult to advice which is the best option.........you can follow your mind.

GTB @#22.55 looking more promising than Zenith @#18, just #4.55 kobo difference, Zenith will likely visit #16 soon

GTB crashed from N30 to N22 by the time ZENITHBK crash will start it's heading straight to sub N10.

I pity those waiting for a paltry N2.50 dividend whereby a glaring N10 capital loss is staring at you. angry

2% of a country with 100m people will have 2m deaths. No be chicken dey die o. Human beings.

At a point I was asking myself all these '100 new deaths added', are they not humans that are counted as ordinary number.

And where there is no cure or vaccine, there is instant panic.

And any disease that is communicable and that needs quarantine destroys economy. Because you close a section of the business or sector to prevent further spread.

Market is pricing in the economic effect that will come after the deaths, diseases.

Let's put things in proper perspectives now. Imagine Air China flies into Nigeria 3 times a day, everyday. A ban on air China means that the Company that supplies fuel for refuelling the plane in Nigeria will be in crisis. Those baggage companies that support airline passenger boarding and disembarkment are in trouble. Hotels that support huge number of chinese tourist are in trouble. Shopping Malls will have reduced patronage. The person that supplies groceries to the hotel is in trouble. Airport taxis waiting to pick passengers will have reduced passengers. There are huge cascading effects.

Open your mind and see the effect.

And the truth remains that when the time to buy comes, people will be so scared of losing money.

Meanwhile when it is time to sell, they will stay there ooo and forget themselves.

This happened because so many traders/investors are running on emotions when it comes to NSE instead of focusing on facts and situations at hand. This is not the time to buy anything...
